How much for valet laundry ?

They don't do it by the bag, but by the piece. Count on it being VERY expensive. Generally a t-shirt at a hotel is in the $5 range. (That is based on what I remember for the majority of hotels, not just Disney).

I can't say exactly what the cost is, but each week I spend at any resort I use valet service to press a couple of sport jackets, and clean and press all of my shorts, slacks and shirts before I leave. The bill is usually around $150 for all of my clothes, and about $200 for DW's clothes for the week. Its frankly too steep, but we just look at it as part of the cost of a relaxing vacation. We don't like to come home to piles of work.

I remember thinking that it would be cheaper to go to Wal-Mart and buy some underwear and socks and throw them away after use!

HI all - If you have a car, don't pay Disney's high prices for laundry. There is a laundry in the little strip mall where the steak and shake is. They do a great job! It never costs us more than about $20 for clean and fold service for a weeks worth of dirty clothing for 2 (this include heavy jeans, sweatshirts, etc because we go in December). We always take our dirty laundry there about 2 days before we are ready to leave. Heck... they do laundry better than I do it myself at home. I just take our empty suitcases with me when we pick the laundry up and pack the clean clothing right there. Everything is clean and very neatly folded and there are NO wrinkles. I wish they had a shop close to home and I would never do laundry again! And it is GREAT to arrive home with nice clean clothing instead of a bunch of dirty clothing to have to wash. Its a good thing!

Thats a great tip sherry8253, - thanks!!!
I have solved my problem by renting points for OKW 2 bed villa. No more worries about sitting near the laundy room for hours. I worry terribly about leaving my laundry in a laundry room unattended.

I think the laundry service at WDW falls into the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." category. I had one pair of my son's nice gap khakis cleaned and pressed on the Disney cruise ship after he got chocolate smeared onto them and I was worried about them being permanently ruined. They were gorgeous - so nice you hated to have a child wear them again - all for only $15. I think the hotel prices were similar, perhaps slightly less.
