Is this a typo How can disney expect anyone to pay $500.00 a night for a garden view room .............. Whats up with that..does anyone book room only.

are you sure that's not for a concierge GV room? Then again, that is peak season, so the room rates are at their highest.

The cheapest room (Garden View) at the Polynesian during Peak season is $449 + 12.5% tax. So yes, the quote is correct.

Subject to availability, you can obtain a 10% AAA discount in Peak season or $131 off of rack rate with an Annual Pass.

This is happening to me also. I was trying to book on line for 4 nights in May. The website was coming up with $2800 which came out to about $700 for a garden view room during regular season. The rate should be 385. That is within $500 of the quote I got for 10 days tickets and dining.
