How much does WDW come up in your house?

A lot! Both of my kids tell me their they had dreams we were at Disney. lol. I dream sweet Disney dreams too. We are always on look out for hidden Mickeys.

Our trip is 52 days away. Some discussion happens pretty much daily since we booked (last August?) because I change our countdown. Lately, there is a lot of discussion because I am buying clothes and shoes to prepare for the trip. Since I am on the DIS daily, DH will usually ask me what I'm doing on my phone, so that starts discussion.

My DH and I only talk about it in depth sometimes, though. We booked last August, so I told him to request his vacation time. He has asked me the exact dates like 20 times. I was getting so annoyed, I've been planning this trip since January 2012 (when I found out I was pregnant again), his birthday is during the trip, how can he not remember the dates? LOL

Several times a day. Thankfully, my DH and kids are just as obsessed as I am. What they are most excited about is that we are taking one of the kids that we mentor with us this year. She has never been and they sooo excited to see it through a newbie's eyes again! Hopefully she will love it as much as we do!

It is just me and my children but during ADR booking time especially one of my children asked if we were doing to talk about it every day. We are a month away from being able to do FP+ but I figure the same will happen that week. Right now we are doing what we call Disney training walks in preparation for our July trip, we try to walk every day and while we are only averaging about 5 miles a day I figure it is better than nothing. We often talk Disney during our walks.

Oh my! This made me panic because I am only up to about 3 miles a day! I have been 'training' for Disney since last fall, but took a hiatus during this crazy Ohio winter. I have lost 17 lbs (I'm 13 from goal) and have gone from a 23 minute (barely) mile to a 15 min mile avg 3 miles a day. So progress! Nothing has motivated me to get healthy like Disney. No really! It's the weirdest thing. My DD4 is only up to about a mile and the last 1/2 mile is constant "carry me" "I can't take it anymore". And while carrying an extra 35 lbs for a 1/2 mile would probably up my cardio, I just can't do it! She weighs about 1/4 of my weight (I'm a tiny person, 4'10"). I am taking our stroller to Disney.

You have inspired me to up my daily mileage. :tigger::mickeyjum

Daily! My DS had to get immunizations today and he said he was going to close his eyes and imagine he was on Space Mountain while they gave him the shots. Yup, the whole family has Disney-fever!

My family doctor made me and DD both get MMR boosters when I told her we are going to Disney World this summer! Doh! It helped my kiddo that I went first and (mostly) didn't flinch- even though it really hurt. The MMR needle was bigger than the flu shot needle... Just sayin. I'm glad we got them though. I have peace of mind about it at least.

:chat:Daily! I started dreaming about this 2 years ago and started planning last summer- no way was I able to keep it secret from DD4! We talk about it a ridiculous amount of time.:hyper2:
My family and friends think I've gone way too deep down the rabbit hole! LOL:ccat:

My ex-husband is a total comic book geek and so used to talk my ear off about that stuff and I was like "Meh". Now I talk his ear off about Disney! hahahaha! He is getting jealous that he isn't going, but that is his own fault. I invited him as well as several others to come along and they all declined last year because it seemed so far away to go the following year and they were all like "We're too old for Disney" or "our kids are too young/old" for Disney. Now that I've talked their ears off about all our plans, they are all realizing their mistake (well, some of them)! I was bummed at first to plan by myself for just me and DD. It is tough not to have another enthusiastic adult to talk to in RL. But I've gotten really into the idea of a mommy/daughter trip and am super excited!

Well..considering I have a custome bathroom with Mickey head cabinets and a 3 foot Mickey mirror it comes up quite frequently. ..:tilt:...also we always have some sort of
Disney trip in the works...so we talk about it quite a lot and if we're not talking about WDW for ourselves DH and I are usually helping someone else plan their trips..:car:

DF and I literally talk about Disney everyday, multiple times a day! If its not talking about our upcoming Disneymoon, its about something currently going on at WDW, or something we saw on the disboards, or an article we read! We now also include DF's brother and his girlfriend...we've seemed to turned them into Disney fanatics too! :rotfl:

Yeah pretty much daily lol....We are certainly a "disney" household! Some people we know I am pretty sure are sick of hearing about Disney

DH and I have come to realize that we have very lengthy discussions EVERY day !! :confused3 We both have active and happy lives , but , Disney seems to always be on our minds :rotfl2:. Are we the only couple that have this going on ? Things will be going along and he will " just wonder " what night we are eating at Whispering Canyon " , things like that. It seems that we have lived this trip a hundred times over by now and we still have always to wait. :woohoo:We are also planning a trip for next year with his cousin and her husband and we have rearranged that so - o- o many times LOL. Does anyone else have this condition ? Please tell me that we are not alone !! pixiedust:
We have been diagnosed with the same condition! My husband and I talk daily. No matter what day of the week it is, he will say ok so we are eating at ... tonight (for when we are on our trip and it corresponds to that day of the week) and the conversation goes from there. We listen to Mouseband radio while we are making dinner every night. I do have to say that we have grown children (well they are 18 and 20 away at school) and we have a two week trip planned for just ourselves in September. Every day he sends out a D for the Day to myself, my two sisters and my parents. He takes us on a trip through pictures of various items and funny little memories we have had from all our past trips. It helps the countdown till vacation and makes me realize how blessed we are. It is nice to escape from our stressful reality. Keep doing what you are doing if it is your happy place, I know it is ours!

It's very visible in our house, I always wear something disney to work - a watch, a ring, a necklace, earrings, a purse, a scarf - always something on my body that is Disney if I leave the house. I've always loved Tinkerbell since the days of WWoD when she would start the show so there are a number of discreet little tinks sitting around. There is a pretty little silver tinker bell sitting on a side table in our living room that if I'm feeling bad or sad my DH will pick up and ring and walk away, never saying anything just giving me some pixie dust. DH doesn't go, hasn't since he was a teenager but he is tolerant with my need to go and thankfully I've raised my son to love it so he is my travelling buddy.
I LOVE this! Your DH is awesome! I also always have something Disney. My work keys are on a Mickey Inital metal keychain from WDW. I have Minnie Mouse hanging from my purse zipper. I have tinkerbell hanging from my work tote. And don't get me started on my Disney shirts!

You are awesome! We also do our Disney training. We are getting down to our Disney Weight lol! We walk each night and have been upping it to get ready.
I was heavy before our 2008 trip, lost 50 pounds for that trip, then the last 50 before our 2011 trip! I had surgery and let about 20 slip back before our 2013 trip, so I tend to lose it, then up a few, then lose it again. Maintaining is hard haha!

That is awesome!

At our house Disney is mentioned every day, several times a day! We listen to Disney music while doing chores, talk about what we are going to do/see/eat/ride! We reminisce about past trips, look at pics. And watch YouTube videos!
We are proudly Disney Nuts! We love our Disney tshirts and just about anything else Disney. It's hard for us to have a conversation that does not reference something Disney related haha! It is our happy, magical place. And we cannot wait to get Home!
My husband lost his sister last June to a very long fight with cancer, and we need this trip so bad just to get "ourselves" back if you know what I mean. Nothing has seemed happy in a long time. So we NEED Disney. We will probably cry like babies when we walk into the Magic Kingdom this year. I'm ready to be home at WDW. And it's nice to have people on here who understand what we mean.

Definitely daily here as well! Last night consisted of me quizzing DBF on various Disney acronyms (which he nailed!).

I talk about Disney several times a day. I think my family is sick of hearing me talk about it. I mention Disney so much my husband accidentally called our son Disney yesterday. LOL

If we have recently returned from a trip or are currently planning a trip then it comes up daily. If we are in the in-between, then it only comes up once or twice a week.
