How much does the Tooth Fairy leave?

I believe I got a few dollars for my first few teeth and $5 for each of the last, most stubborn ones (late 80s to mid 90s). But when I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed (2 of which were whoppers), if I recall correctly the Tooth Fairy felt sorry for me and even though I was about 18, I wound up with almost $50. The Tooth Fairy around here does not believe in age discrimination, apparently!

Good Lord, our tooth fairy must have filed for bankruptcy! For this latest tooth, DH, er the tooth fairy only left her a quarter. I'll need to set him (or her) straight on the going rates...
Can't wait until he starts paying for the weddings...
