How much does a Annual Pass cost

I have read you can get a room discount even if just one person in your party has a Annual Pass. Does anyone know how much these cost and if I can get them in Canada.

The Annual Pass is $420.68 for an adult. The Premium Annual Pass, which adds unlimited admission to the waterparks, DisneyQuest and Pleasure Island, is $548.49.

I don't know if you can order in advance from Canada, but you don't need to have the pass in your hands in order to book rooms at the AP discount rates. Just book with the AP codes and then buy the AP when you arrive at Walt Disney World.

If you're asked for the AP when you check-in at your resort, tell them you will be buying when you go to the theme parks. They will give you 24 hours to return to the front desk and show your AP to retain the discounted rates.

I bought mine in advance and it picked it up at will call. It does NOT go into effect until you enter the first park with it ... thats when the 12 months start. I also booked my room AP and they didnt ask for the pass, but they probably saw it on my ressie anyway. If you get one, make sure you look at your discount book you get with the pass, some small savings to be had. Also make sure you have your ID at all times, they ask for it randomly at parks when using an AP. PG
