Hello All!
What do you spend in groceries per month. On another thread someone mentioned that $800.00 for 4 adults was about right. WOW, is that right?
Personally, for my husband and I we spend about $75.00 per week. I buy food on sale, stock up on chicken fryers, pasta, fruit, frozen veggies, canned goods, pork loin etc. I make my own veggie burgers, make iced tea (cheap). Eat oatmeal, fruit (banana's) or eggs for breakfast. For lunches I make sandwiches (stretch out chicken salad or egg salad with added cut up veggies), bring yogurt, banana, and a side of oatmeal for a snack. For dinners its usually a baked potato (cheap) chicken, frozen veggie. I snack on Fat Free popcorn or sugar free hot chocolate. Anyway, those are the things we do. I can not afford to spending $800 or $900 a month in groceries.
What do you do? Or much much do you guys spend?
Thanks all!
Brunette
