How much do you sped on food?

Hay!!! HOOO!!!! Attention everyone, in reading some of the trip reports. I have noticed that when we are on vacation I'm spending alot more money on food, than the average dis !!

Waz up with that??????

How much are you all spending on an average for


Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Snacks?


Am I the only won spending all the money in here.

for a family of four (me, dh, dd9 and ds7) we average between $100 and $150 on food per day... we typically do one 'big' 'fun' 'character' 'special' meal each day w/the other two being breakfast on the run or counter service or even just ice cream!

DH & I's guideline is $80-100 per day. We try to eat at the more expensive restaurants at lunch and we would also share when we know the portions are generous.

I would say about $100 for me, DH & DD17. We tend to have one nice meal per day, one snack or fast food we split and ususally breakfast in in the room or brought with us (like granola bars or bagels). The nice meals are very much enjoyed, but you cannot afford every meal an expensive one, now can you?
