How much do Fla residents save??

I am planning a trip to Disney the first week in May of this year. I have family that lives in Fl. How much of a discount would we get if they buy our tickets. I am looking at getting three day hopper passes. Also does anyone know what the weather, park pop ect... will be like that week? TIA I know I am going to have lots of other questions before then. I have not been to Disney in 10 years. That was way before dk's!

Florida resident tickets can't be used by anyone except the Florida resident. ID is required either for purchase or for activation, depending on what you buy.

Florida residents do not get special prices on every ticket. They only get special prices on seasonal, yearly, and certain specialty tickets like the Play 4 Day. They do not get any discount on regular PH's or PHP's.

Disney does not sell three day PH's directly. They can be had at certain times throughout the year through Florida ticket wholesalers. Currently, they are available through the 800 number listed on the Alamo web site.

First week in May is not too bad. Since many high schools and colleges have finals in mid to late May crowds shoulkd be down. However, as far as WDW hotels, this is cconsidered "standard" season.

If you go to http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm you will see the current prices of all types of passes except the special "Play 4 Day" promotion.

Note that Florida Resident discounts only apply to annual-type passes, which have the user's name printed on it. Also, Florida ID is required BOTH when the pass is purchased and at first use, when the finger scan is encoded into the ticket.

As far as the weather, you will find tempweratures going into the 90's during early May.
