How much did you spend on your dvc membership

We’re “old-timers”. :) I don’t remember the exact price, but it was a tad under $13,000 in 1992 for 230 points (the minimum) at OKW (then known as The Disney Vacation Club). The incentive was free park passes until 2000 (except for the AK).
Same here. 🙂

$251,850 for 1,850 points. Lowest priced was BRV for $72pp in 2009 and the most expensive was VGF2 $179pp direct.
BRV - 200
CCV - 475
BWV - 200
PVB - 250
GFV - 300
RIV - 325
BLT - 100

I spent 80K two years ago for 250 direct and 200 resale, for a total of 450 points. I did all three contracts in one month. I used a short-term personal loan and will pay it off this year.

For the people who say don't take loans, I will not see a deal like we had years ago on RR points in the future. The difference in price for point now ( when I theoretically would have had the money saved) and back then is way more than the 6% interest over three years for the personal loan. Of course, the best personal loan I can get now is at a higher rate.

We bought 200 RR resort points then too. Just paid the loan off! It was a GREAT feeling!

I’m curious, how much in US$ did you spend total on initial buy in into DVC?
I paid $12,000 with closing costs and everything for my 100 Point Aulani contract. My wife and I are looking for another 50 Point Aulani contract right now. Our family needs more space so the extra 50 points will allow us to get 1 bedroom accommodations instead of studios.

Honestly, some of the best money I've ever spent was on DVC. My family loves going to Aulani every year.

I just paid 103k (including closing costs on two contracts) for 450 (250/200) points direct at BLT. We will get 9k back in the mail after closing for the 2023 points we’re not using so let’s say 94k. The cost was 225 per point with the current incentives.
