Oh goodness I had to clear the cobwebs to remember.I’m curious, how much in US$ did you spend total on initial buy in into DVC?

Yep! I already have a spreadsheet going to visualize my savings. On my new 14k contract I already have $5400 worth of bookings, I included the most recent %off promos in my calculations too. Totally worth it.Our PVB contract allowed us to stay 15 nights at PVB, 2 nights at BRV, 2 nights at AKV, 2 nights at SSR, and 1 night at BLT for a grand total of $3,023.87. That works out to $137.45 per night.
A work colleague told me that she is ahead by not buying DVC and just paying rack rates minus any sales. Call me silly, but I'm pretty sure WDW deluxe accommodation rack rates minus any sales aren't less than what I paid.
So don't feel bad. Just think about how much you are saving on your vacations.
Total for 10 contracts, all direct, 700 points over 4 home resorts, not including closing costs: $102,400. Glad I started with the initial contract 12 years ago then added on steadily for the next couple of years (even purchased VGF during the initial selling in 2013). RR was the most expensive contract (and we own 250 points there, split between (2) 125 point contracts). How much would say if you added all the cost at the time of purchase have you spent total
Holy crap! When were you able to get SSR for around $60pp???1st contract was for 200 SSR approx 12k, second one 3 months later 220 SSR approx 13k, So about 25k or include closing and such 26-27k,,,best money spent.
2012 at 61 and Can$ at par....great dealHoly crap! When were you able to get SSR for around $60pp???
You’re on the higher end. Most people today are buying 150-250 points.Yeah I’ve spent a little over 70k and just wondering if I’m on the higher end or median
