How Much Did I Pay For This Self Inflicted Fun? A Wigdout trip report.

When we met up with our group I found out that I had brought Keeley the WRONG jacket.....

OH NO!

Who would have thought that she would be so mad?

We walked over to the Contemporary from the MK and ran into this charming couple. One was exactly the person Baylor wanted to meet on this trip, Scrooge McDuck and the other being Daisy![/FONT

We then headed out to the dock to announce to meet Shannon, Courtney, our friend Ros and announce to our group that we were taking a Wishes Cruise.
Megan, Matt, and Baylor seemed excited, Keeley thought it sounded stupid.
Too cold.
I was worried about that....
But they did have blanket for us!

Most of the group headed for the front of the boat, Ros is looking back at Marc, Baylor and I!

Electric Light Parade.... can you hear the music?

Shannon, Ros and I, hey, where was Courtney?

Now more about the cruise....
Keeley was cold...
yes, it was cold.
I'll admit it.
We had gloves.
We had coats.
We had blankets.
She had a blanket over her head, texting her boyfriend complaining.
This is how I think it went.....
Her: This is stupid.
Him: What
Her: The fireworks cruise thingy
Him: You are at Disney, it sounds cool, I have never been you should be having a good time.

Anyway, that's what he told me he said to her.

Here are a few more pictures taken out by the Contemporary before we headed back...

We did just a little shopping inside then headed back to Kidani.

We were hitting Animal Kingdom before park opening for an early ressie at Tusker House. Keeley was having a meltdown about her hair because how could I expect her to be ready to go so early?
What was she supposed to do?
Yada yada yada.......

4 Tickers... a girl can certainly have envy! Sorry that someone did not enjoy the cruise... what were your thoughts on it. I think it would be super fun to do someday...but will keep the season in mind!

I am not over all the characters in the hotel lobbies...my girls would go wild to know that they are there!

We just booked Christmas last week, Marc told me that I had to make a choice between a long weekend for f&w or a nice long Christmas trip.....hmmmm I chose Christmas!

Now I suppose if some super cheapo flights came available just maybe a f&w trip could happen, but probably not.
This was our second Wishes cruise and we think they are so much fun! I would go at a warmer time though! Your kids will love it when they are a bit older. You may even want to do the pirates cruise with them!

The fireworks were beautiful!
It was a unique opportunity!
The music was piped in...
We had sodas and snacks...
Most Disney guests were not out on the lake enjoying the fireworks in a comfy boat under a blanket!

Christmas at the Beach Club. I have ticker envy too! That is fantastic and selfishly I will be looking forward to the TR's!!

A Wishes cruise sounds like such fun and even seems kinda cozy with the blankets and all. Sorry Keeley didn't feel the same - although she sure is all smiles in that picture! Oh the joy of teens... I am starting to regret all the trouble I caused my parents.

It was cold, but she didn't have to be such a brat about it. Keeley just isn't one to suck it up and go with the flow though!

The rest of the report will have to come on fast and furious, we leave next month for our Spring Break trip!

We are going December 23/ January 1 . At this point Baylor is a yes! Airfare has not been purchased yet, I'll make sure that he really wants to be gone before we purchase flights. He had a tough time staying gone over Christmas this year and I'm going to remind him of that before we sink money into flying.

Keeley just turned 20 when we got back from the trip. Those cruises are such a treat and the skipper's are really fun too! They have so much knowledge of the area. They took us by the old River Country and shined the spotlight over there, it was really cool to see. Also took us over to an island to see some birds perched in trees for the night....
The fireworks were spectacular, Marc didn't get any pictures.....

Sorry Keeley didn't enjoy the cruise. Michelle can be like that sometimes too. It's worse when she leave a boyfriend behind. That was one of the reason I didn't feel too bad about leaving her behind last summer. But after being left behind she realized it really isn't so bad to spend so much time with her family. She's all about going on this trip. We also let her stay behind and meet up with us unless we have an adr for a meal. I may be saying something different after we get back.

You guys should meet up with Dave and Kathy over at Poly on NYE. They said they'd be there again. If we get to go this fall or winter, it'll be an October girl trip and/or a family Thanksgiving trip. I'll be watching the webcam again this year for NYE.

It was a great day, we were at Disney, MOST of the people we were with were loving it! I was loving it! Well most of it anyway!
I plan to go to school in the morning and get ready for conferences then hopefully another update in the afternoon!

I think I was busy texting a school friend that was out on the lake that night as well heading back to the lodge..... we waved as our boats passed in the night.

Poor girl, I can't believe you made her go to WDW, made her wash her hair the night before so you could get to the park early, then made her go on a stupid fireworks cruise thingy - geez!
