Staying at the boardwalk for Xmas holidays. Since there are limited breakfast options at Boardwalk
( bakery does not have items my kids would eat) i plan on dining there a couple of times. However, I would prefer flexibility, but are breakfast reservations needed or is walk up a reasonable option? Thank you

We ate breakfast in August(obiviously not as busy as Xmas) but there were plenty of tables open during our 9:30 res. Remember you can always book on OpenTable which may give you more flexibility with canceling.

Open Table has more availability, but CBS actually has stricter cancellation policies thru OT. They require a credit card guarantee & have a $25 per person penalty if cancelled less that 24 hours before your reservation. Going thru Disney has a 2 hour cancellation & a $10 fee. Maybe that’s why they allow so few reservations thru Disney.

In case you can’t get into Cake Bake, keep in mind that Trattoria al Forno at the BW also serves a table service breakfast. It was easy to get into on short notice this week.

Wow I didn’t know you could use open table. I had an alert in *********** for 12/19 but was easily able to get one through OpenTable.

Edit: didn’t realize that site was forbidden lol

Made a breakfast reservation via Open Table for T-Day since we’re eating dinner late.
Didn’t find the credit card amt onerous since it’s similar to the policy used throughout NYC.
Did I need to make an ADR for breakfast? Probably not but I like to have plans firmly in place if possible.
