How much did DDE save you for how many days ?

What did you save with the DDE card - minus the cost of the DDE card- for how many days(meals) ?

I am trying to calculate our savings with a DDE card and our approximate cost at sit-downs. For 8 days (breakfast/lunch/dinner) - I figure total cost of
sit-downs would be $1385.55 which would give a 20% DDE savings of $277.11

Cost of DDE is $60, taken away from the 20% meal savings would still leave $217.11 in our pockets

In our above total food estimates I have left off the cost of 5 lunches and 1 breakfast. The 1 breakfast may be poptarts in our resort room. The lunches if one is at AK we would save another $4 - otherwise no savings for counter-service. We also pay for HDD 7:15 show (no discounts) and 10% off RFC with the AP ticket.

I just think of it as paying for my tips! I've saved most likely about $200, after the cost of the card, in the last year. I've already saved $40 on our HDDR seats (late show) in Oct. I'll have to renew the card at the end of May in order to get that discount, but since I've already saved $40 of the $60 cost, it's a no brainer. I'll be using the new card for the trip in Oct and again in Dec!!! I love that DDE card.

In addition to the $277.11, you will also save another $18.01 as Sales Tax is charged only on the price after the discount is computed. Of course, you should tip on the pre-discounted price.

About a year ago, with two friends, we saved over $60 just on our meal at V&A.
