How much busier is Epcot on AM EMH days?

I apologize, in advance, for the length of this post.

I'm looking for actual accounts, if any, of those that may have gone on a trip recently or even last year - early June, that attended Epcot on an AM EMH day. A bonus would be if you attended another non AM EMH day and could compare the two. We would most likely NOT take advantage of the EMH hour (reasoning below).

Fyi, we do take (at least) 4 hour midday breaks every day. Our trip is 6/3-6/11.

I am thinking of switching some park days around. I originally had AK booked the day before AM EMH at MK, but now AK will be open til at least 10 and probably later, and with Pandora and ROL and a few other AK nighttime things we want to see, I have a feeling we may close the place down. Then we would need to be back up early the next day for AM EMH at MK.

So I got the wild hair to switch my Epcot and AK day, so we would be at AK on Wed, Epcot (which closes earlier than AK, hence the change) on Thursday, and MK on Friday. But I didn't realize that Epcot had AM EMH on Thursday.

Because we will be out late at AK the night before, I doubt we would utilize the EMH hour at Epcot, but if the crowds aren't that much worse than a non EMH day, it might be worth it to switch so that we will be back at the room earlier the night before MK AM EMH, which we do plan to take advantage of.

For info purposes: We would not be doing TT or Soarin', as we have these planned for another morning. We would be finishing up FW (The Seas), exploring WS, doing Frozen with a FP, and viewing Illuminations, along with our normal midday break.

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughts.

Would you get to Epcot at regular rope drop? If so, I think you can make your plans work without getting there for the EMH and without trying to do the big ticket rides. Normally I wouldn't advise doing an EMH park without doing the EMH, but I don't think the big crowds will be where you are if you get there at regular rope drop.

Yes, we would be able to arrive by 9...maybe sooner but probably not by 8.

Thank you for your response!
