How much are the refillable mugs ?

Hi All! We will be at the Pop Century from August 4 -9th . We are not purchasing either dining plan, but would like to buy the mugs at the resort. How much do they cost for each one ? Is it true you can only fill it up at 5 minute intervals also, but not filling it back up right away ? Any other info on them would be greatly appreciated TIA

I was there last week and if memory serves me correctly, they were $15.99/each. We had the DDP so got them for "free", but I believe that was the cost.

I think they are $14.95 or maybe $12.95. The thing you are talking about was a temporary test just at one resort and it's over as far as I know. And it wasn't Pop.

It was at the All-Star Sports Resort. I lasted about a month and it was removed because too many guests complained about the problems it caused.

The mugs at the Beach Club are $14.49 + tax.

Mugs are only good for your current visit. Please read the Refillable Mug FAQ.

No, you can't use them to get free refills after the stay that you bought them. They expire when you leave the resort where you bought them. You need to buy a new mug for each and every trip.

Are the mugs any good for carrying around the parks? We don't want to have to bring or buy water bottles if we don't have to.

Do they leak? Are they easy to attach (with a carrabeaner) to backpacks? Can we use them instead of the drink cups at CS food places?

The mugs do leak, in my experience, and I wouldn't bother taking them to the parks. Some people seem to, but you can't use them to get your drinks at CS locations. You could pour your drink into them if you wanted after you get it.

Too much sticky & mess for me and 4 more things to carry that I don't need to.
