How much are the cabs?

In order to get our park tickets we need to get from POP to POR early on Monday so we can still make it to EPCOT for the opening.

We're probably going to take a cab with the luggage and have them store it at POR until the room is ready.

Just curious though how much the cabs are. Any examples from POR would be great! Or how much it may be from POP to POR.

I can't give you an amount from those two resorts. I did pay $6.50 to get from the VWL to the GF last year.

And make sure you have a metered cab vs a towne car. This past Christmas we were twice sliped into a town car which proved to be much more expensive. Remember the valets are no longer disney employees. I did not like the (antiquated word) shenanigans that took place between the valets and the town car drivers. We know speak up when they have a town car pull up for us. Only metered vehicles. You'd think Disney would keep a watch on this, wouldn't you?

I don't think I ever paid more than $10-$12 taking cabs between any two destinations within Disneyworld.

I don't know how much from POP to POR, but I can tell you:

We were late getting to Disney because we got held up in the Atlanta Airport because of Delta , so when we got to POP, our dinner ressies were at that exact time, and since they hold reservations for 15 minutes after, we had to get there FAST. The guy at POP told us we would never make it to the Grand Floridian in 15 minutes using the Disney Bus system and we should get a taxi. We did. $20 bucks from POP to GF. The cab driver FLEW! It was worth the $20 bucks.

You can just put in the addresses of the resorts or I just try to get a general idea by using the park each resort is close to.
