How much are Mickey Ears?

Hello everyone,

A quick question for anyone who has been to the parks recently...

There are two ladies at work who want me to pick them up a pair of embroidered Mickey ears for their grand kids when we go in 2 weeks. Does anyone know how much a pair costs...?

As well, one of the ladies is debating having me get a princess hat for her granddaughter instead of ears -- you know those pointy ones with the little veil trailing off it and Minnie ears on the sides. Any idea how much these are?

Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

If you go to www.disneystore.com and search Mickey Ears, this will give you a general idea of how much they will be. Different types of lettering, etc will also change the price when you are in the park, but iff you need a ballpark figure this will help you out.

In July when I was there, I got a pair of custom Mickey Ears with my name written in a nice script and it was all under 20 dollars. Basic Mickey Ears with name around about 14 or 15.

I hope that helps =]

One little suggestion, the store at Hollywood Studios (at the end of the street on the right) offers more kinds of fonts & colors than some of the other stands. We were able to get an Old English script on the Skeleton Mickey ears than the basic block or script writing :thumbsup2

Thanks for the responses! I'll let the ladies know to plan for around $15 or so. (I love Etsy, but I think they want "authentic" ears straight from WDW.)

Gatorflash, I noticed in your siggy you are requesting help with a Disney trip in 4 weeks. I'm going for the 10th time in 2 weeks and the #1 brand new thing that I just learned is how to make dining reservations online! Maybe you already know about this already, but in case you don't, here is the link to Disney's online dining reservations system. You type in the restaurant name in the "Search" field and then once you've pulled up the restaurant, in the right hand corner you can click to make a reservation.

Also, you can find a list of ALL WDW restaurants with full menus and pricing here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm

It is a super helpful little website. And no matter what your budget, I'd definitely make at least a few sit-down reservations -- they are so nice to have on hot days after a long time in the parks.

Good luck! :)

Somewhere between 12 and 20 dollars depending on the kind of hat and the type of embroidery
