Hi everyone!

I really love to inviatations that tiggerificheidi used.

Does anyone know how much these cost?

Thanks:goodvibes

I don't know how much those specific invitations were, but they were letterpress which is more expensive since they have to custom make the plate to "stamp" them. Impressions also can also do thermography (raised lettering) or offset printing (flat) which would cost less. We had looked into using Impressions but decided to go DIY for budget reasons but they were very nice and I'm sure if you contacted them they'd give you an idea of pricing.

On her website there is also a standard invitation option. I know when we were looking at the pocketfolds they referred me to the standard pricing to give me an idea and then there are Disney licensing fees on top of that for custom invitations but I don't think the fee was that much. The pricing for the pocketfolds was comparable to what other invitation printing sites had.

Thanks!! I emailed them and they are going to send me a price list on Monday :goodvibes

Impressions are very expensive!!!! we looked into them first. The lady was very nice but was not fast in getting back to us about prices or any information. We went somewhere else to order invitations and programs. We had very good service from a place called "Parchment" in Orlando. They had many of the same invitations that Impressions had only much cheaper.

As pezaddict said, ours were letterpress, which made them fairly expensive, but that is true of all letterpress. I think the invitations with envelopes and licensing were about $6 a piece. If I had had custom letterpress anywhere else, the price would have been the same...but you also pay a Disney licensing fee. That can't be avoided, but also was the main reason we wanted to work with Shelley. I have to stress, though, that any invitations you choose will be priced according to what type you want. No one can say "invitations from Impressions cost...such and such."

Shelley does everything very custom, so she can work with you to get the right kind of printing (thermography and offset are much less) combined with a custom design if that's what you want. Also, we opted not to have Disney characters or images on our response cards to cut the licensing costs (you pay licensing per item). She can discuss all cost-cutting options with you.

As you can see on her website, she also has stock invitations that she can offer. We just wanted custom from the get-go, so I didn't explore that option.

Thank you for all the replies!

I got some samples from Shelley and they are lovely. I think we are going to use them although they are a little expensive but we really like them so don't mind spending a little extra:goodvibes
