Here is a couple of ideas for you:

1. go to allears.net website and under dining you can look at menu's which includes prices.

2. Get a refillable mug at your resort @$12. you can refill it unlimited at your resort during your stay.

3. when you price out how much you will spend in a day, and if it is near the amount of @$39pp. You may want to consider the dining plan. I believe it is $39 per adult and it includes:
-one table service meal.. non alcohol drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert per person. Also includes all taxes & gratuity.(best value when used for dinner)
-one counter service meal.. you can get a combo meal, etc., non alcohol drink, and dessert per person. (best value when used for lunch)
-one snack.. you can now use it for alot of items under $4. such as bagel/creamcheese, crossaint, etc. (we'll use this for breakfast)

Don't forget the dining plan also includes tax and 18% tip in that price. So no extra there unless you want to leave it.

For quick breakfast, DH and I usually hit the bakery (every park has one) and they have HUGE pieces of crumb cake, which are excellent, for like 3 or 4 bucks. Usually for the 2 of us to have that and we split coffee if it is hot outside, breakfast costs about 8 bucks. Even with the little ones, we grab a fruit cup for them and still, breakfast is never more than 12 bucks.

I try to budget $50-75/day for myself and two kids. We do a couple of character meals and sit downs, cheaper at lunch, and bring breakfast and some snacks for the room. Refillable mugs at our resort really save us money.

Cut one snack a day, bring water and have a small breakfast in your room, and use the money for a special sit-down meal...it is really worth it -- counter service can get old real fast (if you do all counter service, make sure to do Sunshine Station in the Land by Soarin' at Epcot -- great fresh food!)
