So, we just went against all common sense and booked a short trip for the end of June to try out our DVC membership. How miserable will the weather be? We are planning on escaping to the pool during the afternoons when it is hottest, but what is the weather like overall? We live in Ohio and temps in the summer hover around 90ish (with the usually spikes to high 90's). How humid is it?

Late June, temps about the same as you mentioned, but just brutal, oppressive humidity. By then we should have our daily afternoon thunderstorms, as well, which may interfere with your pool time--most pools close at the first sound of thunder.

Evenings are still hot and humid (I always think the rain should cool things down, but it just sort of steams things up), but a little more bearable. Plan on visiting the parks from, say, 6 to close, if you can.

Not trying to scare you off, just being honest. June thru September is the price Floridians pay not to have to shovel snow.

I've never been in June but our neighbors went last June (2nd week) and said it was awful!! It was their first time and they said they didn't do tons of stuff they wanted to do (Splash, Big Thunder etc.) because it was just too hot and humid. Spent alot of time at hotel cooling off :guilty: . They said never again in June.

Yes it will be hot....Yes it will be humid....Yes you will BE IN DISNEY!!!!! We are also going in June. The past 2 March's we have gone, seemed like a total waste of money for us....neither time did we put on our swim suits, so we decided to move the trip to June. My advice is just to pace your self and drink TONS of water and have a great time.

Cindy's Mom hit the nail on the head! It's hot almost everywhere, so I'd rather be hot in Disney! There are plenty of places to cool off. I've been at the end of June a few times and will be there again the end of this June and through 4th of July week (my first time being in Disney for the 4th - yipee!!). Use common sense - remain hydrated and don't run around crazy at high noon and you'll be fine! See you there - say hi - I'll have my lime green baggallini bag on me!!! :thumbsup2

We love June .Hit the parks early in AM get a lot done .
Go to waterparks or resort mid-day and back to parks in the evening.

I went last June/July and said Never again.
Guess when I'm going back this year?!? LOL!!!
I only said never again once though, so does it still count??!

Arrive early, leave early, and go back late. This works great. Plenty of pools and naps in the mid day. Misty fans and a stroller fan for the little one and plenty of cold drinks!
