How may people actually park-hop?

We're hoppers. It's fun to go to one park and ride your favorites and then go to another park for your favorites there.

We usually do. We get to 1 park either at opening or EE for MK and AK. We leave there around 12:00-1:00 and go back to the resort. We sometimes grab a bite (or I like to have a liquid lunch...well a frozen liquid lunch, lol) by the pool. We take a dip to cool off then we all wash up and head out to the next park around 4:00-5:00. Getting to different parks when not on the monorail line is usually only a quick bus ride away. It doesnt take too much time at all.

What she said! ::yes:: That sounds just like our plan in the summer. When we went in December, we didn't follow the same plan because the parks closed early. The only time we park-hopped that trip was on our AK day - that's still just a 1/2 day park for us, no matter what time of year we're there.

I've gone both ways. When we stayed in the park all day we got bored seeing the same sights and trying to decide which rides we were going to ride for a second time in the same day. Park hopping is really easy, busses go directly from park to park. When you monorail inbetween Epcot and MK you need to get off at the TTC and change monorails or you could use the paddle boat from MK. There is no monorail to MGM, but if you go through Epcot you can grab a water bus. I'd rather just take a bus. So we do and see all we want to in the morning before it gets crowded, take a break, and either go back for the second half later in the day or on a different day.

Just be ware that if you stay at one of the resorts just outside Epcot you will probably be back in Epcot almost every night for dinner. The food in the countries is in my opinion better than a lot of the resort food and about the same price. Make your priority seatings.

We hop, especially staying at BW, short walk to MGM or Epcot. We sometimes will go to a water park as well, and then back to a park (or two!) in the evening. And then to DTD.

We have small children and park hop a lot. When they get bored with one park, we hop back to MK. We always reserve at least one day per park, but most days we end up back at MK. It is nice to have that freedom.

We usually start at one park, do whatever we want to do their (we have been a bunch of times before, so there's always "tommorrow" of a line is long), then go back to the resort for a break or lunch. If we know there are a few things in a different park we want to do, we catch the resort bus back to that park, or go to the outlets or DTD, then go to another park for a nightime show. DH gets burnt out if we go to more than 2 parks in one day, but I would love to go to Epcot just to grab lunch or dinner. MK is my favorite, them MGM, but my stomach belongs to Epcot! It is a bit of time to wait for the WDW bus (10-15 minutes, usually) to go to another park, ride there, then wait on another entry line, but it is definetly worth it so you are not stuck in one park for the entire day (except MK, I could be stuck there 2 full days!)

We had not planned on it but we hopped every day. Animal Kingdom closes with the setting sun and we had plenty of energy left so we went to MK until almost midnight(it was open late).

The next two days we did early entry and went the parks got busy we switched to another park. Our next day we went back to MK and then after lunch headed back to AK to do more safari's and then back to MK to do the park at night again. Never did get to ride splash mountain during the day this time! LOL!

We hop!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Camcolt has the plan. Although we try to add a nap for the DD's but it is usually DH who takes a quick nap!:p

Big Hopper here! We always plan a "park-hopping day" into our trips near the end of the week we are there. This allows us to see our favorite attractions again, and to catch any shows/parades/fireworks that we have missed during the week. For instance, on our last trip, we ended up being really tired on our Epcot day in the early afternoon, so we went back to our hotel and waited to see Illuminations on our Park-Hopping day.

We always park hop. We usually start at one park, go back to the hotel and hop to another park at night. I absolutely love the ultimate park hopper tickets (aka length of stay) We went to WDW last weekend for two nights with a group and only had one day one park tickets. We didn't like being limited in that way. It's worth the money for us.::yes::

We are another family who always parkhops. We start the day at one park, take a mid-day break, then go to another park in late afternoon/evening.

We own DVC and usually stay in the Epcot resorts area. It makes a trip back to the resort a breeze.

I park hop everyday. EMH day usually in the AM and then a less crowded one for dinner and night time show. Although, we never stay in the parks all day and always take that afternoon break in the pool.

We park hop almost every day

Often start someone at the EMH park, go back to the resort for lunch/nap/swim then head back out late afternoon

Once in a while we do a 3 hopper park day as well

thanks

I have done ALL 4 Parks in one day! Went to AK, than MGM, than Epcot, than MK!

We do park hop. For instance, we were at AK and wanted to see the last performance of Off Kilter in Canada at Epcot--we raced to the car and drove to Epcot--got there just in time (45 minutes after the idea occurred to us) to see them.

We generally think the food at MK is mediocre so we will take the monorail over to Epcot to eat sometimes (we really enjoy the ride, especially at night, when Epcot is all lit up).

Also, when one park closes significantly earlier than another park, we like having the option of (for instance) going to AK during the day and Epcot at night.

I think the only time we did not park hop was the first day on our first trip...... We tried to do ALL of Epcot in one day! Boy was that dum!

We've also visited all 4 parks in a day!!

However, we are not go back to the room people. We'll do MK, AK early in the morning and then spend the afternoon at the world showcase. Then its MGM, MK or Epcot for the night fireworks shows.

We had an annual pass to Disneyland while DD was in college in LA......We ALWAYS parked hopped between Disneyland and California Adventure. HOP HOP

:wave2:
I will be doing just that tomorrow afternoon! :hyper:

Oh and tomorrow -- all parks, DTD, WL and Pop Century.
Pin nutz...

I think a better question would be who doesnt???

I think it really makes the trip to spend mornings in one park and nights in another.
