How many??

I think if you go 365 times in one year that might but over the top--- but anything less is just perfect :teeth: .

We average 2 trips a year. Not a lot by some Diser standards and over the top by most of the general publics. We too have to save for each trip, or work extra hours or take consulting jobs (the last one is the preferred method). I would love to go 4 times a year-- once for each season. We are starting to fit more trips in by going for long weekends whenever southwest drops the airfare under $50 pp.

I say as long as the magic is still there for you each time you go, there are never "too many visits". We live near DL and stay onsite for 2-4 nights at least 3 times per year. I never tire of it :earsboy:
We have been to WDW three times (from CA) and have our fourth trip planned for a week in Oct for the F&W Festival. I cannot wait! If you can afford it, then ENJOY!

If you are going to get a AP then you will want to use them as much as possible. Airfare has been very cheap lately, so you don't have to worry about that to much (just got roundtrip for about 60 bucks a person from SWA).

Also think about every time after you have the AP. You wont have to pay for tickets. For some reason this makes me feel like I am saving money when I already have my AP.

With my AP I went for 2 weeks in Dec. 2003, 1 week Feb. 2004, 1 week Aug. 2004, and 1 week Dec. 2004. I still wish I would of went more.

My AP is set to expire on Feb 4th... mix that with the cold, snowy weather, a cough that needs some sunshine... and we just booked a three night stay leaving this Saturday! :earseek: Now I just hope the weather cooperates!

My question to you is....

Could you ever get to much of a good thing? I mean it's fat free, doesn't effect your health(excet in a good way) and your helping the economy. :cheer2: I myself have two trips planned for our AP year and another surprise one in the works. It's all good!

Sorry I beg to differ. Cause we mainly go for the food. Between the sweet pretzels and turkey legs at MK, to the School Bread, Tiramasu, Napolean, Funnel Cake, Churros at Epcot

And thats not encluding the Food and Wine festival. Dang no look what you made me do, I think I will have to again in the next month or so to get my fill.

I'm with lulubelle....as long as it's still magical, there's no such thing as too many visits!!! We just bought our first FL resident passes and I'm in the same boat! (Hmmm....long weekends...why not go to WDW???) hee hee

goofeyfreek but what about all that walking and swimming. That has to help balance all those special treats. Besides you could try to use one of those pedometers to see how much more walking you are doing compared to your norm. It would be interesting to see. Has anyone every done a comparison I wonder? Either way turkey legs or not :rotfl: I would still go. Life is too short to not go to WDW as much as possible.

Funny you say that but my wife does normally wear a pedometer. We average 10 (MK-epcot) miles on a 2 day trip and 14(MK-Epcot-AK) on 3 day trip. Course some trips differ cause we go to DTD or MGM. Or some we go to TL.

I would have to say are worse was this past week after Thanksgiving. We covered 18 miles in one day. We wanted to see the Osborne light and illuminations and we where only there only one night. And we had to find a Daisey Duck. We started off at Epcot, then to MK. Still no luck. So off to DTD (find it). Then to Osborne lights then to Epcot.

And OH yeah I got Sweet pretzel and Turkey at MK and School and Napolean at Epcot.

Now we were wondering...if we sold our house, could we buy enough DVC points to just live in a grand villa.

I have to say I always gain 5 pounds on a weeklong trip. I just don't get it because we only eat 2 meals a day. Also, we definetly walk a lot more there than at home. I think the magic has calories. :)

Goofeyfreek I commend you on your ambitious agenda for only one night. It does sound like you got your $'s worth on that night.. Let me ask, how were you legs feeling that next day? Or were you not able to feel them? :rotfl2:
I am always up for the walking part it's the carrying of our 2 dd's (4&5) that slows me down. There are times I feel like a pack mule with one of them on my back. :rotfl: This si why my trip #3 will be quick and w/out children. Oh no, what have I done. I promised I wouldn't let the Diser's know I was planning a no children trip. I will be getting some debates now. :rolleyes1

I tell you come time for Illuminations I was so ready to go to bed. But DW decided tho shop in MouseGears so we didn't get out of the park till 10:45. Things you do to keep the Disney spirit alive. The Daisey was for a neighbor who is having a baby and naming it Daisey.

Needless to say the next day we only hit RF for breakfast the Safari at AK and headed home.

What are you talking about not letting the DISers know you are taking a trip without the kids. Those to me are some of the best trips. SOMETIMES.

I say go as often as you can afford it and as long as you still feel the magic. Actually, even if you stop feeling the magic, don't stop going, just find a way to make the magic again.

We, unfortunately, can only scrape enough extra in our budget to go once every two years (and dh would push it longer if I let him), but if I could find the money, we'd definitely fit in several trips a year! (I'm jealous of all those inexpensive airfares...we searched high and low last May, and the cheapest we could do it was $220/person x 5!)

How about 12 trips in first year of AP? Not including, of those 12 trips, the 2-4 night stays. Now that was just the first year. The second which just started back in August04, we are leaving for a 3night stay tomorrow and that will be trip number 4or5 for the second year. Like some others have said if you feel the magic everytime theres never too much. ::MickeyMo

This is like one of those really old Tootsie Pop commercials - the one with the owl - you know how many licks does it take to get the the center of a Tootsie Pop - I remember the kid giving the owl the lollipop to get the :teacher: "right answer", so I'll make a deal with you - you send me to WDW and I'll tell you when I've had enough and want to come back home :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
