I think it's 2...or 3? Anyway, now that I have your attention - I was wondering if anyone else saves their points for alcohol occasionally?? I've been on WW for 3 weeks now and I am trying to really make it a long term commitment... and the truth is, I cannot imagine not drinking over the summer!!!?? I would like to have a few (maybe 3?) beers once in a while!! I guess I will have to use some of those extra 35 points for that because if I save my regular points, I will be so empty I will probably be sloshed on one beer! :drinking1 (maybe that's not such a bad idea after all! lol )

Anyone else have any advice for drinking on WW?? I thought this might be a good topic for a Friday!!! :surfweb:

TGIF!!! I like to have a glass of wine or beer occasionally too. I find it easier to save points in the summer because of all the delicious fresh salads and fruits around. Miller light is 2 points. I believe there is an ultralight that's around 75 calories, maybe michelob, and my ww leader said it's basicly one point if you leave the last little bit in the bottle. I like cheap wine- Arbor mist is my favorite, and I'll mix it with some seltzer to make it last longer. Those flex points are there for a reason.:drinking1 Cheers!

I don't do WW, I do calorie counting, but I definitely save calories for alcohol.

It might not be the *best* way to diet, but I don't care. I know that I am going to want a beer or two or glass of wine now and again. For me, I have to find a way to make this my lifestyle and not just a diet. Therefore, I think it is important to find a way to incorporate "vices", including moderate amts of fast food, alcohol, sweets, etc., in a way that will allow me to still be thin and healthy.

If this means I lose a bit more slowly but can form habits that keep the weight off, then I think that is a good tradeoff.

Just my $.02. :cool2:
