How many were in your HS graduating class?

LOL...very demure.....

I don't remember, but somewhere around 500.

There are 850 in my class right now, but we're still a year and a half away from graduating. I'm sure the number will fluctuate some before May 2005...

Seven towns went to my high school and there were 27 kids in my graduating class. Class of '79 Naselle-Grays River Valley High School in Naselle, Washington. Go Comets!:p :p

Somewhere around 1100 in 1975. I went to a very large high school!

198.

I can't imagine being a part of a school with such a huge number of kids in the same grade. For those of you who were in large classes, what was it like for you? I mean I didn't "know" all 198 kids in my class, but I knew who they were. Did you feel like a small fish in a big pond? Did you have a lot of friends? I really am curious. My DS is currently in 2nd grade and he is in a class with 4 2nd graders and 5 3rd graders. For 1st grade he was in a class of 5 and in kindergarten he was in a class of 15. We will be moving soon and I am worried that it will be difficult for him to go from such a small class to being that small little fish.

How bout if you know for sure how many are going to be in your class and haven't quite got around to graduating just yet?

Sure you can answer Poohkie!!!:bounce: My DS will be graduating next year and there's only 76 in his class......smallest one our school has had in a long time!!!

I stopped counting at 765... I think it was closer to 800.

30 (I went to a Catholic girls' school and our class happened to be the smallest in the school.)

670. We always graduated from the auditorium which was too small for that many kids. So, graduation was held on 2 nights, divided alphabetically. It was awful. My best friend and I graduated on different nights.

We didn't do our in the auditoruium, be did the entire graduation outside.. the calling of the names took hours (at least it felt like that)

Oh yes - graduation. Ours was on the football field, too...we all hoped for good weather because if it had to be indoors, we would all be limited to two guests each.

And I thought I had a small class - mine was 21 and 2 of those have died already (I graduated in 87 and we lost our first one a year after graduation - got hit by a train). Our whole school was 120 and we weren't a parochial school.

We had over 1500 people graduate in my class. Sachem High School 1987, suburban HS on Long Island. :jumping1: It was horrible. I still run into people who graduated the same year as me and never knew them. Our ceremony was over 4 hours long and they pretty much just read the names one right after the other. I went to a large university after HS and it felt small to me.

I made sure when DH and I bought our house that it was not in that school district! Even though it was a good school, I hated the crowds. We now live in a school district that has about 200 kids each graduating class.

I think we had around 500-600 in my graduating class ('98).
