How many weeks before the sail do cruise documents arrive?

I know this has been asked a lot, but I could not find a recent thread to get the answer.

Yeap, I was gonna say 4-6 weeks, but thats the same as 30-45 days, functionally!

And if you booked through a travel agent, it goes to the travel agent first. Ours took forever for that reason (I'm not using that travel agent anymore!)
Well, it doesn't always. They can request that it mailed direct to you. But most TAs like to get them first and then hand them off to the client (makes it seem like they're doing more for you).

Hasn't always gone through TAs when we used them...they could have it sent directly to us. However...I understand the stress when the cruise is approaching, and they haven't shown up, but we got used to it after a few cruises. At first we called DCL to check, they reassured us, but after realizing they just seem to wait until a few weeks ahead of time we lived with it.

We are sailing 8/3 and were excited to get them earlier this week!

My TA sends mine to me, but she also adds stuff that she herself has prepared (a detailed packing list, a printout of what we have scheduled, tips on how to minimize data usage on our phones, etc.). So my documents went to her first and got to me about 35 days before sailing.

Mine for my upcoming cruise in July came at 45 days pre cruise. We always use a TA and they always come direct from DCL.image.jpg

We are 26 days out and haven't received ours yet. :( Almost everyone on our meet has received theirs.

Yes, my travel agent adds some stuff that she has prepared as well. I find her information far more useful than the Disney booklet.

She did send her stuff and the DCL documents together when I requested it to be mailed to a US address. When I needed the documents to be mailed to Germany, she had DCL mail the things directly to me and sent me a package with her stuff as well to make sure that there was no time delay by the documents first being mailed to her.

Maybe. Was yours a last minute booking or GTY room that will delay them.

It was an 11C GTY, not IGT. But the room was assigned quite early on. And at one point I had asked my TA to change the delivery adress from my adress to my sister's (who was cruising with me, her first cruise and I wanted her to get Mickey Mail). But at that point, about 50 days out, they said that the documents were already processed and mailed out when my TA called them.

Our first cruise last year it was about 45 days before we got them. We used a ta too and it came direct to my house
