Well, this is embarassing. We have 7 for a family of 4.
1 32" in the great room
1 53" in what was supposed to be my living room
1 13" in the office
1 27" in the master bedroom
1 25" in Ryan's bedroom
1 19" in Jeremy's bedroom
1 13" in the boy's sitting area
I just realized I'm no longer the one in control of my household.....yikes!
a 36" in the living room
19" in the kitchen
19" in my parents bedroom
13" in the sewing room
19" in my old bedroom
19" in my brother's room
27" in my dad's office that doesn't work
and a 13" on top of that that does work!!
How many is that? SEVEN TV'S. The scary part is 90% of the time it is only my parent's that live at home now!!!
In my apartment i only have one in the living room!
We have 2 TVs for 4 people - 1 in our bedroom, the other in the rec room. Both are 27 inch, I think.
Oh, we also don't have cable, have never had cable, but DH has finally convinced me that we need to get it. So the guy is coming out next week to hook us up. The boys are excited that they get to watch Nickolodeon, and I'm happy that I can finally watch Sex in the City without having to get my sister to tape it for me. DH, I fear, will be stuck in front of that thing 24/7 watching sports.
We have 1 in the living room, 1 in our bedroom, 1 in the family room, and a portable one for the van (DH won that one this summer - it's been a lifesaver!)
Thats a lot, especially since there are only 2 of us in the house! The one in the basement isnt hooked up to cable or anything. Its only used for my exercise videos. I keep forgetting to get rid of that broken one.
1 in Family Room
1 in Dining Room (temporary bedroom for my mom)
1 in Kitchen
1 in Master Bedroom
1 in closet
1 in corner of Livingroom floor to use on road trips.
1 in basement for video games & for treadmill entertainment
2 others in basement, not in use.
Whew! We obviously have too many. Not to mention that I don't even watch TV! (Too busy on the Internet!)
I have 5 TVs all on 24 hrs a day, hooked up to cable, plus a VCR and DVD player attached to each one. . .
I also have a special 127-inch screen TV here in my computer room hooked up to a Satelite, which I use to scan the heaven's for breaking news, social commentary, The History Channel, 16 different HBO's, women's bowling tournaments, South Park re-runs, and other important programming. . .
