My wife read in a book that it takes 20 minutes for the train to go around a complete trip. Is there just one train and if you miss the train it will be a 20 minute for the next one? thanks

they have multiple trains. It doesn't take to long for the next one. Maybe 5-10 min depending.

I'm not sure when you will be going but it will be closed for refurbishment from Sept 28th until Nov 8th.

that's the first I have heard of the train being down, where did you see this?

I think they meant WDW, the stations are being referred there, nothing on line about DL, just Mark Twain and Nemo, which should be back up today.

I'm not sure of the exact number, but there are multiple trains that run usually. There have been times that the train I'm on has had to wait a bit because the train ahead of us was taking longer than normal at the station.

Oops sorry yes i was talking about WDW. Wasn't paying attention to the feed. And I'm in WDW mind set since I leave in 22 days! But I think Disneyland is the same.

It seemed like there were 3 trains this summer (because we kept missing the one with the "sideways" cars.

When we were there this past weekend we had to wait for a train to clear the station. During the wait time the CM recited some trivia about the trains including the fact that there are 5 trains. Not all the trains will run every day, but the wait is rarely more than 10 minutes.

I think the max at one time is three trains, which gives a 5 minute wait, but usually two trains with a 10 minute wait. I experienced both wait times (as officially posted on the waiting signs) over the weekend. I don't think I've ever experienced a single train running, but that would definitely mean a 20 minute wait.
