do you go to Disney in a year? Do you buy AP's and plan to go numerous times or do you on a whim. We bought AP's in Decemeber and we will get to use them three times at almost a week a time. I thought that was money well spent.

I'm on my second AP. I waited 6 months between the expiration of the first one and buying the second one. I was able to use the first one for 4 trips and hope to use this one 2 or 3 times. Then I'll probably get another at some point. Definitely money well spent for me .

We have been averaging once every 8 months, but our last trip was for 11 days and our upcoming is for 8, so I think we have done okay with our AP's

Well, we're only about 6 hours away, so we go several times during the year for weekend trips, and we go for two big week-long trips during the year.

I have an AP and I am a DVC member. I am heading down over Easter, in July, in December and I just got back from running the Outback in Feb! I am hoping to get a trip scheduled in June, too!

We last stayed for 11 days and it was cheaper to buy the AP. I hope we get to use it again before it expires, but if not it was still worth buying. This pae explains how many days you need to go the parks to make an AP worth it.

The first time we bought AP's we went down 3 times during the course of the AP. We just went back in December and bought AP's again as we are going back in May. Wish we could go back more, but we are doing the cruise too so life is good!

my hubby gave me a PAP for christmas...with a surprise trip in January attached to it.

then he said "to get our money's worth - we have to go at least 2 times"

well...our january trip was short (4 park days)...so he's planning a september and december trip!

and might even throw another january Bday trip in for me to! heheheh

AP's are great, aren't they? However, they always end up costing me more since I feel I have to take as many trips as possible to get my money's worth! I did really well with one I purchased back in December, 2001. Went for a 2-week trip in December, then March for a week, June for a week, August for a week, October for a week and December for 10 days (in fact I was there on the day my AP expired!).

From March 03-March 04 we will have 28 days in the parks.

I havent counted, but I would guess 15 nights in resorts.

We have APs and go to WDW twice a year. Each trip is 12 to 14 days long with a total of 24-28 days a year. Not including our rooms at the Poly we think we are getting a bargain that works out to be about $14 a day. We like to think we are getting a good deal anyway! LOL!

We budget for it. We dont really do anything else.

Usually buy a package through AA Vacations and it includes UPH etc.

Lately been going 4 times a year.

Spring for 4 days

Summer for 5 days, unless doing the Disney Cruise, and then it's a 3day cruise with 2 days at WDW.

Fall for 4 days

Winter for 8 - 10 days

We live about a 6.5 hour drive away, so that saves money by not having to fly.
We also have AP's.

We bought our first annual passes in Dec 2002. We were there for 10 days & then we returned for a short 5 day trip in March/April 2003.

Now we will be getting AP's again this September when we'll be there for 11-12 days. Our plan is to then return next September 2 weeks earlier for another 11-12 days or so. We end up getting at least 2 trips out of the passes that way. (Maybe I'll luck out & get 3 trips out of them. )

We didn't expect to go again, so our last trip, we had 5 day PH passes and bought a one day to Epcot (we had planned on spending that day at DisneyQuest).

We are going back in Dec. and staying on site, that time we'll have UPH's.

Next year i will probably buy APs.
