How many times in 1 year have you been

I haven't read all the replies, but just looking at the first page, I'm the odd woman out. DH and I only make it once a year when we have the time and money to go. Our last trip was in 2001 and our next trip won't be til 2006.

Actually I was blessed in 2001 to go twice to Disney. DH and I went for our 10 year anniversary, and then I went to do my College Program in August of that same year. Unfortunately, I had to leave Sept 21st as it wasn't working out financially. My CP should have wen to January of the following year. Hey, family comes first and the time I got to spend on the CP was a good lesson learned.

Actually...I think I might sqeeze a 4th one before the year ends! Maybe from Dec 31- Jan 6. We want to do The Whoville (The Grinch) at Island of Adventure and also Macy's Parade at Universal Studio!

We want to do The Whoville (The Grinch) at Island of Adventure and also Macy's Parade at Universal Studio!

Have you been yet? I think last year was the best yet, we can't wait to go this year. Anyone have extra time during there Disney trip this year, try and get a chance to go and do this. I still think Disney(Epcot) is still my all time Christmas wonderland, but the Grinch is great.

The most times in one year was 2002. We went for a weekend in January, a weekend in February, an overnight in April, two weekends in May (Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend), Father's Day in June, a week in July, Labor Day weekend in September, two trips in November (a weekend and an overnight), and a another weekend in December for MVMCP. That is a total of 11 in one year. We stayed at a variety of resorts that year (CR, Poly, AKL, ASMu, ASSP, POR, Dolphin, and the CBR.

We went 9 x in 2001 staying at all four moderates, the ASSp and the ASMu.

This year we went 8 times staying at the CBR, CSR, the ASmu, ASmov, and the Yacht Club.

Living so close we go for a lot of weekend trips. We have been 5 of the last 7 Labor Day weekends, and we always take at least one week where my Dad (from NC), and my sister and her family from (OR) join us.

As you can tell, we love WDW.

This is the ONLY year we have went 3 times. Before this year, we had only been to WDW 3 times total in our lives!

Next year (2004), we are not planning to go at all, but for spring break in 2005 I think we might get an AP and then we will go a few times that year to get our money's worth out of the pass.

If we lived closer, we would go more. But there are other things we want to see, and places we want to go. We love Disney, but we also love to see other things.

About to take my 4th trip this year. I stayed with my parents in Orlando forthe 1st trip. For the other three, I have tried new resorts. 2nd time I stayed at the Dolphin and it was very nice. In May, I got a great code for All Stars Sports. No problems there. This time, we're trying a split-stay with Poly and WL. Less than a week to go!

Three times with in a 12 month period. Example - we were at the AKL Concierge from Feb 1st through the 6th of 2003, we were then at the Dolphin from Aug 29th through Sept 8th, 2003 and we will be back at the AKL from Jan 23rd through the 29th of 2004.

Best I ever did (ahhh, what a year, LOL) was in 2001. I had 4 trips to WDw and 2 to DL. At WDW, 2 stays at DxL and 2 at Swan, DL trips were both off site.

I'm going again Dec. 1-5 and it will be my 6th stay since December of last year. Gotta love those AP's and living just over an hour away...

I only stayed "on site" for two trips and "off site" in DTD (which is just as good to me for the most part) for the rest.

In December of last year I stayed at Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa.

In May I stayed at All Star Music.

In August I stayed at the Hotel Royal Plaza.

In October I stayed at All Star Sports.

Earlier this month (November) I stayed at the Grosvenor Resort.

and in a week I'll be checking into the Hotel Royal Plaza again.

I figured out that in a span of 18 months...we spent over a whole month at Disney...oopsie! no wonder we are going thru major withdrawals right now!

The year that my husband retired we went four times in one year. It was our personal best and unlikely to recur. (sobbing) When we buy an Annual Pass we go once that year and twice the next year before it runs out, once in the spring and once in the late fall.

we went twice this year, january (offsite) and november (csr).

we now own dvc and our june 04 trip is booked. we are going to book another for oct. 04 when our 11 month dvc window comes up next week

with dvc we plan on doing two trips every year.

We'll be making our 7th trip in December. Usually we visit twice a year but DD was in WDW for the College program and we had to visit her often! We like to try new hotels(GF,CBR,Dolphin) but "repeated" favorites(Polynesian,Swan) as well.

We had an annual pass from May 2000 - May 2001 and we went 3 times with our last WDW that May '01 trip.

We stayed at CSR, ASMo and the Swan for those trips. One was for a full week while the others were long weekends (fly in on Friday morning, fly out on Monday).

We've been 3 times in 2003 (all in an 8 month period) We stayed off site, camped and FW and CSR and GF in December.

FIVE times in one year, plus one trip to Disneyland the same year (2001). That may not be alot by some standards but I live in Seattle so its a long haul to WDW. Although at least now we have a non-stop flight. I "threatened" my husband I was going to go every three day/holiday weekend next year.

The most I've gone is twice in one year (one week each time). I would like to go more often, but I only get so much time off (5 weeks per year) and there are so many other places to visit!

We have also been lucky enough to visit the Florida Keys each year for a family trip with my parents, Napa, Sonoma, USVI, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Yosemite, an Alaskan cruise, Vermont, Cape Hateras, NC, long weekends in New Hope, PA, NY Catskill Mountains, Baltimore, MD, Washington DC, Boston, MA, etc., in the past 5 years.

I do love WDW and would go as often as I could, but I cannot deny myself seeing and experiencing new places!

WOW ! I can't believe how many times people have been in one year, you lucky lucky people! The most I have been was twice in one year and believe me, if I could go more, I would! My dh is on Disney Burnout, he wants to take a break (he said that 2 1/2 years ago, so I took the kids by myself once) but he just wants to visit other places. I am going to do a girls trip for a long weekend in May (that he doesn't, well he somewhat doesn't know about )

Oh, we stayed at two different resorts btw, when we stayed twice in one year.
