How many times do you change things before you actually get there?

So, we booked a family suite at the All Star Music and since then my husband has decided that we might want to think about getting two rooms instead of the family suite, so we dont have to sleep on the pullout (we are currently staying with inlaws in the suite) I am just wondering how many time people change, or add things to their vacations before they actually get the WDW?

I feel like all my decision making and changing is aggravating to my travel agent...LOL does anyone else do this?

Thanks...:confused3 needs some reassurance I am not a crazed Disney person who cant make up their mind...

I have already changed my dates twice for out September trip;) You are not alone!

Oh man, I have changed my first trip like 3 times before the 45 days deadline. First I changed the number of rooms I wanted (we got 2 rooms, finally) Second time, I have to change the number of nights of our stay (from 6 nights to 8 nights) Finally, I have to cut back down to one room from 2. It was down right madness.

Between date changes and resort changes, I have probably changed at least 20 times for our upcoming trip. Well, probably more, but I don't want to admit to more than 20. :)

I started out at AKL CL then to AKL SV, added a day then switched to WL CL then to WL Courtyard View then to Poly GV CL then to Poly GV then to Poly LV CL then back to Poly GV then added my DD (she changed her mind and decided to go) then upgraded to Poly LV CL again. Now I'm too embarrassed to call again. :rotfl2: Yes I'm nuts :lmao:

Hi I'm ****** and I change my resort reservations more times then I myself can remember :rotfl2:

It started out with a simple 7 night vacation then to 12 night vacation then to 14 night vacation then back to 12 night vacation and now finally 10 night vacation :rolleyes1

I started with the idea of two rooms at CBR, but reserved at AKL standard room then to Contemporary standard then to BC standard then to Poly standard then to a split stay at Poly and WL standard then to just Poly then kept thinking of club level rates and debated on that, and then FINALLY I hope this is it Poly for seven nights at 4/3 deal and AKL for three nights at summer rate :sad2:

There really is a lot of factors to take into consideration when choosing a resort and each has positives and negatives.

I can't ask DH because it drives him nuts.

Good luck to you and your family and those who go through the ten different reservations before finally getting to WDW ;)

More than I care to admit to:lmao::lmao:
I am sure that the poor CM's at Disney Travel flip for who has to answer the phone when they see my number come up:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ok let's see. We started out with a March trip. We had to postpone to April due to a conference conflict. In early April my father had bypass surgery (he's doing fine now thank God!), so we had to postpone our trip again until June. We've switched resorts twice and made and cancelled ADRs at least 20 times over (counting the March, April, and June reservations). I'm exhausted just thinking about all the changes I've made so far. I'm making a commitment to myself not to make any more changes between now and our travel date. The only way I see myself going through all that again is if I can get a deeper discount than Summer rates currently being offered to the general public. I guess I'm not alone. Glad to hear I'm not the only person with this 'problem.' :lmao:

For our December 2009 trip: Started out with GF, garden view. Then changed to BC, standard view. Then WL, woods view bunk bed. Finally, WL Club Level. AND I'M NOT CHANGING IT!! :lmao:

Honestly, I am a chronic resort/room category changer. Even when I think I am happy with it, in the back of my mind I'm thinking of how I can change it. Yes, I need help. I fully admit it. :upsidedow

For our Jan trip. Started off thinking GF (as it was where my first trip was). Started to consider poly as "only" option. I booked Poly. Then thought BLT might be nice (it is new/lots of attention). Read more on AKL and cancelled Poly and booked AKL. Am now thinking that I might do a split btwn AKL CL (booked) and Poly (not yet booked). I also looked into renting points.

I have been flirting with WL ....

I am insane.

AHHHHHHHHH, about changes...

I'm afraid to even TRY calling back anymore---they've probablly blocked our number from their "incoming call line"!

At least some of you can at least keep track/count of how many AND what changes you've made...we quit counting. BUT, I'm not in denial nor minimizing my "problem" therefore I don't have one!!! :littleangel:

Hmmmm, does anyone know if when a person calls Disney, does the CM on the phone see all of the "Past History" of the person calling or just the current ressy info???

Yes, I think they can see changes. When I changed for (hopefully) the last time a week and a half ago, the CM said "oh my, you've been around the block!" :lmao: I changed about 4 more times since I last posted back in May and right back to the resort I started at.

We can't decide so we always do a split stay. We go in Aug with fd and do fd at value resort. Then we move to a deluxe, this stay and one before it we move to two deluxes, one mk and one epc.

Last year was assp, BC, WL. This year, we started out with assp then gf, then akl. After having dinner at CM during our fd portion on the trip, we really missed the BC. So we called while here and switched less than a week until our trip. We switced from akl to YC. Now we did assp for 5 days pkg with fd, GF 3 days with 40% Off rm only, YC, CL 3 days again with 40% rm only

I think you're right! This "last" time we called my DH said the CM said something about quite a bit of action on your credit card lately. :magnify: I think we actually kept our current res long enuf for them to get the paperwork mailed to us with the same resort we're still booked at. :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh, now this sounds like a res I could live with!!!:thumbsup2 But seriously, was it a lot of moving or not a big deal? I'd love to do the f/d and then try another resort (or two) for the 2nd part of our trip, adding a few days of course! ;). :goodvibes

I change WAY too many times throughout the year.
5 times as of today LOL:rotfl2:

I am pretty sure instead of my name or any other important details the CM's message reads "HIGH MAINTENENCE! NEEDS TO GET A HOBBY!"

I am a chronic planner and need every detail in check before I stop changing my mind, I have changed at LEAST four times for this next trip!
I guess with today's economy we could just look at it as a little job security for Disney!
