We dropped three times last fall, have not ridden since then..have they increased the drops again.....woo hoo!!!

We just rode TOT a few days ago and it has definitely been 'tweaked'. I didn't count our drops, but it was more than before. A totally fantastic ride!!!!!

I actaully don't remember... i will in 27 days. I know it was a lot. I rememeber when that ride was only 1 drop. Now 7! Thats great!

It is my favor Disney ride. I do not know how many times we dropped but we have had 3 of the 4 patterns, have not gotten that 4th one yet.......but when we go in Sept I will sacrifice and ride it over and over again until I get all 4.

I don't count but my fave is when they fake you out with the movie and then shoot you back up.

For me, the last time I was on was 4 drops--- I don't honestly think I can do this ride anymore. I'm good for 1 or 2 drops-- but by the 4th I'm no longer having fun--- I couldn't handle 7.

We were there about 9-10 years ago and I only recall 2, maybe 3. Can't wait for this one.

Do you think it is too much for a 4 yo boy? My grandson watches the DVD and wants to try this?

The fake unload is the only cycle that I haven't received yet. I guess I need to keep riding to see it.

That depends a lot on the child. It was my dd's favorite ride when she was 4 (and still is now that she is almost 11). We just took my (then) almost 5 year old ds on, and he said it was ok but definitely did not want to do it again. My 13 year old ds finally tried it for the 1st time and felt the same way.

I would say that if he really wants to try it, give it a go. Follow his lead. If he gets too scared/nervous, he can always opt out right before he boards.

I didn't know about the "fake unload" cycle before I rode it. I started to say how disappointingly short that ride was to my dd and we were whisked up again. That was a great one!

I rode TOT after it opened, and I had really mixed feelings about it. I liked it and hated it at the same time. Now, I am really *scared* to ride it. 7, 8, 9 drops? I was petrified with 2!

I don't want to miss this (curiosity always gets me), but I don't really want to go on it, either....

How strange!! Any advice?

P.S. I LOVE roller coasters! Imagine that!!

We had 5 drops last week. The first drop was our biggest one!

I have the same love/hate relationship with this ride. I dread it but go on it anyway then clutch the handles during the drops and wish it would stop then hate when it finally does!
