How many threads do you subscribe to?

I have often wondered how many threads people keep track of and subscribe to. I find myself adding more and more threads - then going in an cleaning old ones out.

What about you?

I subscribe to every thread I post too....

And occisionally I will subscribe to a thread to find out more about a subject without posting...

Zero. I just check in and see what's on the first page or two. I rarely start threads, and even then I've never subscribed to them, just checked back for a few days to see if I've gotten any replies.

hmmmmmmmmmmm, sometimes it seems like an OP doesn't subscribe to their own threads. This must explain lack of response to questions asked several posts into a thread (of the OP or a previous poster).



I'm set up to subscribe to all threads I've posted to. However, I sometimes cancell my subscription....generally to a 'game' threads. It's fun to see when a 'dead thread' gets discovered by someone a few months after the last post. I go straight to my USER CP when I sign on to see if there are any discussions in progress before I check out new threads.

Usually none. Occasionally there will be one that I subscribe to for a couple of days and then dump it.

Well, I just checked my User CP and found that there are 1,311 threads that I'm subscribed to, meaning every thread I've posted in along with a few that I've subscribed to separately. I like keeping them available because sometimes I'll be trying to help someone out with a hotel or restaurant review and I'll know that there's a thread out there that has the requested info in it. The search function doesn't seem to do the trick all the time so at least this way I have a means of finding the info.
