so i was talking to a friend this AM and commented on how basketball was ending in a few weeks, but then baseball would start (for DS) and soccer would be starting soon (for DD) and she also swims... and she said that she just didn't know how we did it.
so DH (full time) and I work (30 hrs wk). DH and friend usually co-coach each team sport (basketball, baseball, soccer). swim of course is by swim team coach at Y. sports for one child don't overlap except maybe a week of 2 at most. swim is for health reasons but she also
it. we don't force our kids to play, they enjoy it. if they want to play, we play... unless it gets to be too much or cost too much- and as long as grades aren't falling.
so my question is this....
how many sports are your kids involved it?
do you feel like you are overloaded?
do you get criticism from friends?
ok... maybe i had more than one question... but i just feel like when i was growing up- esp as a girl- there weren't that many opportunities...and i wasn't and still am not athletic... at all!!
DH was very athletic and participated in lots of sports in school.
just curious...thanks
