How many rooms with AP discount?

Does anyone know how many rooms you can book with an AP? Do you have to stay in the room or can you pay for a room for a family member if you are also staying on site? Do you think it would matter if the AP person was staying in DVC and wanting to book additional room with AP for family? Thanks

I believe the limit is 2 per AP but I'm not sure if you have to stay in at least one of them. I would call to find out for sure.
