How many rolls of film per day?

I'm buying a 4-pack of 35mm film each week. I have over 30 rolls so far. I was wondering how many rolls of film on average you go through each day. We will be there for 7 days, so I want to make sure I don't run out and have to buy a $499 roll of film in the park.

You sound like me!! I have never been to WDW before and I have been purchasing film over the last several weeks too.. I have 16 so far and a month left before we leave.. I also bought 4 disposable cameras for the kids because they are doing the Pirate Cruise and Wonderland Tea Party and since adults aren't allowed I want pictures while they are doing those!!

Two trips ago I went through over 30 rolls. Only loved half the shots.

Our last trip we took over 300 pictures on a digital camera. I only printe what I wanted, knew right away if the picture needed to be re-taken, and looked through the pictures while in lines.

In the long run you save a ton going digital. Also it cost less per print at Walmart to develop!

I would say two per day to be safe. I'm sure that will be plenty and you'll have some left over. I'm a picture junkie and I take a million rolls a day and on our 2 week wedding trip/honeymoon, I only used 11 rolls, but I had several of each that I wanted. I think when we went to disney last year for 1 day, I used 2 rolls.

Wow! $499 a roll? That's a deal! I paid $725 just last week for a roll!

I usually take around 100 to 125 pictures per park and am usually there for 4 days (a park each day). One thing to remember is I have a digital camera. If a picture doesn't come out (someone walks by just as I snap the shot), I can erase and redo. However, when I brought my 35mm, it would have been one wasted picture. I normally took about 10 rolls of film for a 3-day visit. Sounds like you are well prepared.

Also, the one good thing about your numerous rolls is you will always be able to use them elsewhere should you not use them all at WDW. And I agree. Be prepared. I ran out of film right before the parade and was held financial hostage by the Disney bandits who sold pricey film and disposable cameras.

We only use like one roll a day. We forget to take pictures a lot of times.

My husband uses the digital camera and I take about 2 - 4 rolls of film per day. Depends on what we are doing. If I am taking pictures of parades or some kind of show, I will take more.

I am an avid scrapbooker, so I like to take lots and lots of pictures.

On past trips I always used 1-3 rolls of 27 exposure film a day but this will be our first trip with a good digital camera and who knows how many I'll take with that camera.

Just recently I took 150 digitals on a weekend trip, 98% of which I kept; 50% I had printed using that Winkflash deal.

Later this month I'll probably bring both my point and shoot and the digital since I haven't mastered my digital fully yet!

Digital has sure made my photo development costs go up!

There are so many benefits to digital, especially if kids are involved. You can take tons of extra pics because you simply delete the bad ones. Also, my DD really enjoyed sitting in our hotel room each night and looking at the day's photos with me.

I use a digital camera so I don't go by rolls. However over our last 8 day trip in November I had 727 pictures when we returned home - thats after I deleted the obviously bad ones.. Maybe I'm a picture junkie? But it is nice to go back and look at all of the things we did as a slide show on the TV.

Don't forget to get the waterproof disposable camera for the water parks...

My problem with digitals is that you need to bring a computer or extra memory cards so you can keep taking pics.

That is so sweet! This will be our 1st trip with the digital and I'm sure we're going to love seeing the pictures right away . . . and then again at night in our hotel room.

I'm also bringing the regular camera, just in case something goes wrong with the digital. If it c ost $499 for a roll of film in the parks, than a camera would be like a kazillion dollars!!!

Our last trip I took about 600 digital pictures and used about 8 to 10 rolls of 35mm film. Oh, and one disposable panoramic camera.

When I had a 35mm camera I used to do about 2-3 rolls a day. DH got me a Digital camera for my birthday and what a diffrence in our last trip. We went about 3 weeks ago now. I was able to see the photo right after I took it which was great because if it was blurry or didnt work right I could delete it. I ended up somehow taking more photo's that I would with rolls but I knew ahead of time that all my shots are good.

You all sound like me. I usually take 2-3 rolls a day on vacations. I now have a digital and in the first couple months I had it took almost 300 pics. And that was just Christmas, New Years and some pictures I took when I had my neices and nephew. I like the fact that I can erase whatever doesn't look good. When we went to Disney the first time, while at Epcot in Japan I was taking a picture of my niece decorating a mask and this other much older child climbed over my legs and ruined what would have been a very cute pic. It would have been nice to have a digital then.

On our last trip, I used 2-3 a day. MAKE SURE you have all you're planning to take into the park each day with you. At MGM, I thought I had enough rolls with us and was one short. The film ran out right in the middle of character autographs. Youngest DD was first in line to see Mary Poppins and she got a Poppins kiss on her head and I didn't get a picture of it! I'm still so sad to this day about that. I ran over to buy another roll and it really did cost $10.00!!!!!!!!!!
