How Many Receive Codes *After* They are Booked??

Will I destroy my chances of getting any kind of code if I go ahead and book my ressie?

I booked first and then received my 40% off via phone call to CRO about 10 days later.

I booked The GR 08/15-20 for 2 adults and 3 kiddies (9, 7, and 6) and then called 1-407-w-disney and asked to speak with guest relations..I told them I was at WDW in November and stayed at The Poly and they did not offer a bounceback and I was really upset. I saw it was offered at The value resorts for the deluxe hotels but the people who paid for the deluxes got nothing. They said that was true and apologized and then the CM found me a code that offered the 40% off...I couldn't believe it! I have since switched to the CR MK view and it only cost me $100.00 more then the GR in a gardenview...well worth the $100.00. So yes, book first to secure your room and then keep checking back..they will adjust your rate
