will fit in an empty Pringles canister? I am using one for spending money at WDW and I glued the lid on specifically so I could not dump it out and count it every other day but now not knowing is torturing me....

Us a postage or small kitchen scale (one with no more than a 32oz limit) scale.

First weigh an empty Pringles can with the lid on and record that number. Then weigh 10 quarters, divide that result by 2½ and you get the weight of one dollar in quarters.

Then weigh the can with the coins in it, subtract the weight of the empty can, and divide by the weight of one dollar.

Very simple (if you have the right scale and a small calculator).

Do we win the contents if we guess right>> :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My guess would be about $$150-175 if it's all quarters. We sell stuff at work and a plastic bag around 6x10 holds about $95 in mixed change.

I'll eat them and then dump my quarters in and let you know. :cheer2: I just counted mine that are in my cinder. bank and I had $75.50 in it and it was a little under 3/4 full. I also have anoughter $300 in qu. $10. worth in a zip lock, so I can put them in the roller rappers easy. DH has $120 rolled and prob. over $150 in his change jar. What I want to know is how many peenys it takes to fill up a 200 oz liquide tide bottle. It has about 2 inches to the top to go but it seems never to get there, even after I put in a handfull more. I have a blue wine bottle with only the neck to go with dimes in it. I figure about $50. will be in it. I am thinking I will break down and get pal mickey maybe with our pennys thoe. If I make it to walmart tomorrow I will buy a thing of pringles really I will. Mum

I was at wally world yesterday to buy a pringles can for you. When I got home DH had bought one at the gas station on the way home with DS from work. :rotfl2: Any way I put over $100 in it and it is only filled up to the white hand. I have over $300 more I could put in but don't want to have to count them again and sepperate them. Sorry. But from looking at it and size wise I could fit in anoughter $50 bucks worth. So I would say it hold $150 worth of quarters. I have a wine bottle almost filled with dimes and I counted it this morning. It had $126. I would guesse it will hold $20 more. Have fun Mum
