How many presents does Santa leave at your house?

0. We don't do Santa. Each child gets 7 gifts from us plus their stocking.

Well in our house Santa brings 3 gifts.
As a child Santa brought lots of gifts, but my kids were going crazy with asking for stuff a couple of years ago (they were only 4 and 1) so at that time we entered a gift limit. I came up with 3 and told the girls "if it is good enough for Jesus then it is good enough for you."

I love that! We have always let DS ask Santa for three things with the same sort of reasoning. (But if he's been very good Santa bring a few surprises of his choice as well.)

I grew up in a house where the biggest gifts came from Santa and something sentimental came from Mom and Dad; DH just the opposite - the big present was from Mom & Dad, and smaller things from Santa. So it's still kind of a balancing act now. - But I figure this is probably the last year we've really got before DS decides they're all from us anyway, so I'm not going to worry about it.

Santa usually brings 1 thing the kids asked for, 1 present that is a surprise, and a stocking.

Then from DH and me, they get another present.

I think this year I am going to let them go shopping and buy a gift for each other as well. Spending their piggy bank money of course. Want to let them learn the joy of giving as well.

It really varies each year.

We have 4 kids ages 4, 6, 8, and 10 and this year Santa will be bringing a wii, a bunch of games and accessories for them all to share. I think he might also bring one individual present for each--board games for the older two, and pillow pets for the younger two.
