How many points?

Yes...another poll. I'd like to get an idea of an average number of points a typical DVC'er owns. I'm not looking for people to post how many points they have (many would consider that confidential information), so a simple vote in the poll will suffice.

202 here! - I was excited to see the 200-300 category. we added 52 pts at HHI after our original 150 at BWV to specifically be able to reserve rooms for a period of 4 weekdays at a time, hence the odd total amount. We haven't used our HHI points since our original stay there over 5 years ago, but have traded and rented them for other great experiences. We intend to return either next summer or the summer following.

We bought 230 at AKV last month to get started. But as I've been calculating vacation possibilities, I'm thinking that adding anywhere between 30-90 more wouldn't be a bad idea.

Having added on at AKV I had to think a second what the new total is (592 at three resorts). Could add more if I found the right VWL contract.

We bought 150 BWV points early last year. Then we almost immediately added 180 VWL points. Then this year we bought 200 AKV points as AKL is our absolute favorite resort in the world. I sense a trend here...

We bought 180 SSR points in 2004 and added on an additional 100 SSR a few weeks ago. This is a good number for us for now.

Addonitis after a month...it's addicting, huh?

We started with a 200 point contract at SSR in January 2006...just added another 100 last week. I'd like to think that will suffice for awhile, but we really like taking friends/family along on our vacations, so the points disappear quickly...and DW is talking about additional trips each year. I'd like to hold out for CRV...fingers crossed.
