How many points for a Cruise?

Can someone tell me how using points for a cruise works?

The number of points required depends on the number of people in the cabin, their ages, the category of cabin, the length of the cruise, the itinerary (if it's a 7 day cruise) and the season.

When you're ready to book, you just call MS, give the CM the details, pay your $75 fee and you're set. The CM will help you through the process.

You have the option of only paying for the first person in the cabin with points. You can pay for the others with cash - at the price DVC negotaited with teh cruise line. It could be more or less than the price being charged at the time by the cruise line or a TA.

Just so you know you only get a value of about $7.5 per point by using points. Er decided to rent our our points and pay cash for our July 8, 2007 cruise since it would be cheaper. Just something to think about. If you pay cash you should book through a traval agent that offers cash rebates back on your trip.
