I ended up shooting around 2100 photos on our trip in June 2011. Just over 300 on my DSLR and the rest on my p&s.

I believe my brother ended up with a little over 900 shots, but I'm not sure about the exact number.

The last trip I didn't take quite as many as I had in previous trips. I think the number was around 2,000. It was difficult to determine because I used three different DSLR's.

I go often so i do not shoot as much as i could. Last trip was to shoot some pics of friends at the Disney Marathons 3 weeks ago. Came back with only a few hundred. I have made a trip to Disney just to take pics for the Where in the World photo game thread. Other trips were just for specific events like the Food and Wind, Flower and Garden. Fair guess for the last year would be very close to 5,000

About 2500 on my last trip to WDW. Not as many as I had previously. But I'll have a couple of new lenses when we hit DL this summer, so I'll probably shoot more.

Last March I shot almost 8000. I shot a lot of 3 & 5 bracket shots. The 2 trip before that I did 2500 & 4000.

Used to be 150 or so a day. X 7 days = 1050... That was back in 2004

Each trip since has been less and less. I think as I have become more serious about photography, I am setting up each shot vs spraying and praying I get a good shot.

Last June we went 7 days and i took 500.

I have stepped up my photo taking hobby with new body and lenses since the last trip. I expect I will take a bunch more this marches trip.

Interesting seeing how many photos people take, keep them coming!

Have no idea how many I will shoot this summer, but my shooting plans should be considerably different this year. My last trip was was my nieces first trip to WDW and the first time I've been back in 20+ years, so my focus was on them. Hopefully I'll spend more time shooting on my own this time!

Looked at a number of the photos you have posted over the last week and just wanted to tell you they are very impressive! Id be interested in seeing more of your photos, do you have a Flickr account?

I shot around 5600 last trip. I deleted around 1500 in the weeks after I got home. They will be culled further as time goes on. I'd rather have the option to delete than not have the option to keep :)

I just got back from a 7 day trip.
But, one morning we decided to do all 4 parks in one day, at WDW. The one day resulted in 1,100 photos. That includes Kilimanjaro Safaris, MSEP, castle projection show, and Wishes. Obviously, not all are keepers. Since it was just a few days ago, I haven't gone through them yet.

Before reading this thread I thought the 700 I took on our last trip was a lot, boy was I wrong.

Depends on the trip...I go to Disney about 5-6 times a year, and the number of photos varies by season and purpose of trip. If I'm traveling with family or friends where photography isn't the primary focus of the trip, I'll typically take 300-500 total photos in a 4-5 day trip. If I'm there specifically for photography (either a solo trip, or when I go annually with a photography/Disney board group), the number increases drastically, and can be in the 2,000-3,000 range over 4 days. Much of this is also attributable to the fact that we'll be shooting shows, stunts, animals, etc which require a lot of continuous shooting...of those, I'll usually get home and immediately cull 50% or more before I even start editing - getting rid of duplicate or flubbed shots, maybe keeping 2-3 shots out of a burst of 7-10.

Season also affects my shooting...winters and cooler weather I typically shoot much more than hot, humid summers. My typical May/June trips are in the 300-500 range, whereas my typical Jan-Mar trips are more like 700-900, even with family. It's a lot more pleasant to head out at night after everyone's worn out and back at the room and take some tripod night shots when it's nice and cool out!

I just returned from Disney yesterday, from a 4 1/2 day trip. Weather was marvelous - highs between 65-70, lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s...and crystal clear blue skies and sun. I was with family, but the weather was so pleasant I was out shooting even around hotel grounds as late as 1am. I shot 940 with my DSLR, and 275 with my mirrorless...this is higher than I typically would shoot on a non-photography-centric trip, but the cool weather made it easy to do!

Our last vacation I took a little over 1600 :rolleyes1

And another 200 with the point and shoot :thumbsup2

Do they have a 5th amendment down under? :lmao:

I'm on the internet(ional). Last time I looked, there were no country boundaries in DisLand....

(unless you count the various sub-forums, that is).

Man I thought I took alot being in the 600-700 mark. I guess I'm one of the lowest. Crazy numbers here. I thought I live through my camera viewfinder on my trips but I guess I don't! lol

My largest shooting trip ever was my daughter's first trip with my parents in Nov of 2010. about 700. I ended up with a album of 130 pics the rest were scrapped to the archive HD on my NAS.

I think I need to get shooting more!
