yI am curious as to how many tvs each household has versus the numner of people?
Does the tv has access to channells, cable/satelite or are they for gaming?
We are a family of 7. Three boys 13, 14, & 15 yrs old. Older 2 share room. Two girls 11 and almost 8 yrs old (separate bedrooms).
Our main family room's tv is the only one set up to Directv to have tv watching capabilities. This is sometimes frustrating when the boys planned to watch a show that is inappropriate for the younger girls.
This tv has been failing with a picture problem. With all the superbowl sales, DH got a great deal on a new one. So it is awesome, but again the only one hooked up to be able to watch actual channels.
The older boys got the hand-me-down tv for gaming.....xBox Live. Middle DS got their hand-me-down with an old vcr to watch movies, although he will hardly use it.
Older DD got middle DS's old hand-me-down tv, she is so excited. I was hoping to be able to skip the girls. She can play older GameCube games and watch all her girlie movies with her sister.
We do have a good tv in the master bedroom but it is not hookup to satelite and thus is used to watch Dvds. I would like to have tv station access in this room as well as the family room because there are times when the boys are watching things & the girls and I just want to watch some decorating shows, etc.
Does anyone know how much it costs to have an additional tv hooked up to Directv?
I never imagined having so many tvs in one household. People were quite surprised when we only had 2 tvs with one recieving channels.
I'm not sure how I like these arrangements, but I told everyone that I was going to give it a try. Not fighing or fussing and all will be well.
Wish me luck. LOL!
So, what is the size of your family, how many tvs do you have, and what are they used for?
Thanks for sharing.
