How many people have owned for years but only staye at their home resort??

We have been members since 1992. I have never stayed at another DVC resort on Disney World property since we joined. It has always been OKW for us. We have ventured off and stayed at VB a couple of times, and used points at the Disneyland Hotel in CA a couple years back. However every visit to WDW has always been at OKW.

This summer we thought, after 16 years, we'd try something slightly different so we are going to try SSR. Hopefully we'll love it. I think I am going to miss seeing the palm trees, I just love seeing palm trees in Fla, but I think it will be nice to try something different.

We stayed at OKW in 1995 on cash, then bought at BWV in 2005. Our only stays since then have been at BWV. We love BWV. It's a great location and gives you a choice between low points for a standard view and reasonable points for a Boardwalk view. Given the choice, we will continue to stay at BWV. -- Suzanne

We own at BWV and have NEVER stayed there. We will probably never stay there unless things get so that you have to stay where you own. When we bought, nothing else on property was available. OKW was sold out and none of the other resorts were selling yet. We're getting ready to do an add-on and it will be at OKW.

We have been members for 7 years and have only stayed at our home resort (VWL) once......we much prefer the epcot resorts or OKW which we have stayed in the last two times....the 7 month window has never been a problem for us

We have much smaller contracts at HHI and OKW.....not enough to stay in a 1 bedroom for one week

Bought BWV in 1998 and have stayed there 3 times out of a dozen or more. Not that we don't like BWV, but love VB, really like HHI, and want to try others at least once. Getting harder to do with all the new resorts.

Bought BWV in 2000, and have only stayed at BWV and VWL (about half and half) when at WDW due to their park proximity. Have also taken several trips to HH, and a few to VB, love both those resorts.

Want to try BCV for SAB when the kids are older, am looking forward to some inevitable AKV stays, and will likely stay at OKW someday when we want extra room/point savings/etc. Of course, KTR is high on the try list too, but who knows when it will be possible to get it at 7 months once it opens. Don't forsee ever staying at SSR, unless as a last minute trip when nothing else is available.

We bought points at BWV in 2000. We've only had 1-3 nights stays at BCV and OKW due to lack of availability. We occasionally talk about trying VWL or something, but we just love the BW and the low point standard view.

We've been DVC members for over 10 years and our home resort is the Boardwalk. Most of our vacations are at BWV. Over the years, we have stayed at OKW and SSR a few times. Just haven't gotten around to staying at the other DVC resorts yet, but we will!
