I've never went to Disney before and really want to know how many people go there will have a discount at tickets?

Are you asking how many people will need to be in a group before Disney will give a group discount? Or are you asking how many people on here buy their tickets with a discount, either a pin code or resident discount? :confused3

Stick around and read, read, read these boards. If you have never been to Disney before there is a lot to learn before you go.

I assume you are asking if those of us who have gone before get discounts on tickets? If so, yes, there are many of us who find ways to save on tickets, but it is isn't easy. One year we did a program where we volunteered a day and got $82 off of our tickets. Other years I have gotten tickets through the Disney YES program and other years I have saved enough on my Disney rewards visa to cover some of the cost.

There are a lot of discussions related to tickets and discounted tickets in the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Forum. You will find that there are several "authorized resellers" who can give discounts, generally not much more than five percent, from the gate prices.

Be aware of the regular pricing. Disney Park tickets are "front-loaded". For an adult, for example, the first day is $82 (plus tax), the second is $80, the third is $62, the fourth is $8 and days five thru ten are only $5 each.

Avoid any time share places like the plague, they are high pressure, they lie, and any tickets you get from them cannot be upgraded or modified in any way.

Do not, under any circumstance, buy tickets from eBay or Craigslist or any other online source unless you personally know the seller. There is absolutely no way, looking at a Disney ticket, can you actaully tell what is on the ticket.

You might want to look at the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky in the TPA&S Forum. Especially the items bolded in the list below.
