I am just curious if anyone will try to change their ressie next month if they have a trip planned April 1st or after?

We finish our vacation 3/31, but if they opened a week early like has happened before I might try to pick up a night or 2

I have some flexibility for our July/August trip for arrival dates and may try to book a night or two before our BLT stay just to try it, but I'm not sussed if it doesn't work out. I won't be trying to change it over.

we will do like we do with most resorts...we will give Poly a 2 day stay at the beginning of a future vacation to check it out, before returning to OKW where we feel at home!!....gonna do 2 days at BCV this July before 6 at OKW!!

We are considering switching a couple of nights we have booked at BCV in a studio before we take a DCL cruise the first week of July.

We've never stayed at BVC, so either w/b a new experience for us.

I asked my group if they wanted me to try for 2 studios for the first night of our upcoming May trip. They all said no, they just want to go ahead to VGF and get settled in. Would have saved me 20 points, but I don't have to worry about fighting for a reservation now.

Thinking about a few nights. We have VGF for May but had to move our dates slightly and when we did, our room type (lake vs standard view) wasn't available for the last two nights. So for now we have the last two nights in a different view but wait listed for all in the same view. If that doesn't come through we might try for Poly those last two night since we have to switch rooms anyway. VGF is new for us also so I don't want to switch to Poly for our whole stay.

I am on the fence. Trying to decide if 4 gals would be happier in a 2 bedroom at BWV or 2 connecting studios at the Poly. If it were DH and myself, I would go with the Poly. I'm going to see if there are connecting studios first...no connecting studios available, well, we'll gladly stay at BWV.

My next trip after April 1 is mid-November. Right now I have BWV and VGF booked. If I go with friends, we'll do BWV to be close to Epcot for F&W. If I end up going solo, I'll stay at the VGF to enjoy the holiday decorations. I'd rather not do a split stay (and I prefer my home resorts), so doubt I'll try to switch to the Poly in either case.

We've got a week booked at BCV in April. I love being able to walk to Epcot early in the morning during Flower & Garden. We moved our week forward a day for better airfare & had to book the last day at OKW. I plan to see if I can switch that night to Poly since we have to switch anyway it'll be a good time to try it out.

I will try to switch for my November trip.

If we were to give the Poly a try, we would wait a year after opening to book.

By then the rooms new issues will be fixed, the CM's trained, and the VOC will have dissipated.

Not us. We will probably try to get in next year. Our points used to book our trip this summer worked out almost perfectly with what we had available. The Poly would require borrowing and we're trying to get caught back up so that we're out of that hole. Having just been to Aulani this past summer there is no way on earth it could compare anyway so we're content to wait. :thumbsup2

I thought about switching ours for the first week of June, however we are at the Boardwalk and that is my prime location, so no. I will be keeping my reservations.

Different strokes for different folks, Magic Kingdom area is just not my favorite location.

No, we have a 3 way split stay this summer - BLT, VGF, BCV - our home resorts - and just can't pry ourselves away to try the Poly

Going to try and switch our first 2 nights of our Aug trip to there (we have BWV for the week). Need 2 studios. Also going to try and book a weekend in April with some holding points I have...hope I can!!!
