Hah!! I've got all of ya'll beat. 2 weeks at xmas, after deleting the bad pics we have 5000 pictures. And yes, I feel the need to scrap them all.... I'll probably finish it in, oh, about 20 years.....
dH is camera happy but that's ok I use it as an excuse to by more scrap stuff. ;)

As for finished albums, forget it, I'm still working on the 2004 trip and I have 4 trips in 2005 I haven't even printed yet.

Holy Crap!!!

:rotfl2:

Based on my outline of planned pages, my 2006 trip will be a stand-alone album of about 60 pages.

My 1993 trip, and the trips to DL and WDW in 1997 will probably be put into a single album. I don't have nearly as many pics for these trips, they were BS (before scrapbooking) :rotfl2:

Wow, I guess I'm not taking enough pictures! I am almost finished my April, 4 day trip to Disneyland and will only have about 20 pages. There are things I don't have photos of that I wish I had for some of my pages though. When I go to Disney World in December I will do a much better job. I think I might plan the photos out before I go and then print a checklist so I don't forget anything. I would imagine being so much bigger that it will generate more pages. I think I will probably have at least 60 for all the parks.

I broke my old record on our May trip. I took just over 1,000 pictures, then there were another 205 on the photo pass cd (that we shared with StitchIsOurHero, so they weren't all mine).

The album is about (I don't really remember) 170 pages. I took 2 inches of post to bind it.

Once we got a digital camera, we took WAY more pictures than we used to.
In 2004 I used an 8x11 album and had 90 pages.

In 2006 I used a 12 x 12 album and ended up with 210 pages. It took about two months of working 2 or 3 hours a day. It is SOOOOO huge, but makes the BEST souvenir.

Okay, I'm not nearly at crazy as some of you, but crazy nonetheless.

We snapped over 850 photos with our digital camera in 8 days in June. I first had to whittle down to 100 pictures to fit the small photo album I purchased at the scrapbooking store at DTD. That was hard! That was the album I shared with friends and family, I'm sure they would be bored looking over 800+ pictures of us having fun in WDW. Then snapfish.com had a 9-cent print sale about a week ago. I picked about 300 photos (some of the same from the first 100) to scrap. I sorted them by park and realized they were a few I hadn't selected, so I chose another 25 for scrapping. I'm waiting for that batch to be delivered before I start cropping and laying out.

I bought 4 6x6 albums. First I was going to make one for my DD and my friend's DD who vacationed with us, but then I decided I was going to make an album for each park - further realizing that I really can't fit more than one photo on a page. I've since purchased 2 12x12 albums and a couple of refills packs. I don't know how far they will take me.

I go WAY overboard also!! I just finished my May 2005 trip ... four books with 20 - 27 page protectors in each book ... you do the math!! I'm afraid!!

I try to keep each of my vacations in their own separate album. Last year's 7-day cruise occupies 106 pages! I had to actually rebuild the spine of the DCL scrapbook to accomodate all of these pages. It required many refills and extra screw adapters as my pages tend to be somewhat lumpy. I then found fabric that matched the cover, glued it to cardboard and punched the necessary holes in it to make the spine. I love having the whole trip in one album, however, it does require a forklift to move. :rotfl:
