I take them wherever we go, and I am so glad I do. Some of you might think that its too much of a hassle, but it can be very useful, as well as a nice keepsake.
The last time my hubby and I were at Universal (2001), I purchased a very nice journal with a Universal Studios logo on the front at one of their stores. It was a great way to write the specific details down about our trip, ie; restaurants, rides, etc. I found very convenient times to write during our trip, but most of my writing was done, during some of our meals, when we stopped to rest and people watch, or when we got back to our hotel. I did the same thing again in this past December when we were there. I was just reading it again the other night, and it brought back sweet memories of our Christmas/NYE holiday there.
I purchased a new one recently that I will save for our next trip in 2007. This particular journal is neat because it has pockets for tickets stubs, photos, and other keepsakes.
I keep so many journals, but I am most fond of my travel and personal growth journals.
Does anyone else here do the same??

We were in Disney in Oct 2000, I started a trip report and it stops less than half way in, I had started keeping notes of each day and had only scraps when I arrived home. I started an album (similar to scrapbook) using photos, brochures, tickets, receipts, stickers etc etc which is beautiful but the last 4 days still aren't done yet, I did the other 7 days before Christmas 2000 
I really really need to get those last few days done before we go this May, I even have all the bits and pieces out, just need to get down to it.
