What is wrong with you? I speak as another person who has been through something the poster has been through. She told me how she dealt with certain problems and I told her how I did. Big deal. Grow a thicker skin. Believe me I don't need you feeling anything for me. This is an internet bulletin board for goodness sakes! Who cares! LOL!

Yeah, you really tried to sympathize and relate to her. :rolleyes: You know, I'm gonna just leave this one alone now, because all the eyerolling I have to do when I read your jibber jabber is starting to give me a headache. Somebody pass me the aspirin! :rotfl2:

Good.

Saying you don't wear make up is fine, saying you don't put on a "false face" or slop on the "goo" is a slam. You didn't say that, but she did. How else do you take "false face"?

Definitely see your point! ::yes::

I lost 9 babies and do remember my hormones going wild. Fortunately, it didn't last long. I never felt the need to put on a different face while home or with my spouse though. Of all people he was my support. The last thing I really thought about was how I looked but that was my way of dealing with the pain.

My miscarriage was almost 2 years ago and the acne scars are still here. And it did last long for me. I'm not dealing with the pain everyday 2 years later, so yeah, I care about how I look! It's not like it happened last week and I need to deal with the pain right now. Wow, you are something else, now you make it sound like all I cared about is how I looked while I was miscarrying! Have a nice life!

Hey, don't let her get to you. I understand what you're saying and so does everyone else. You were only explaining how you got the scars and she took your words and used them to imply something else entirely. Don't worry about it.

BTW, I wear make-up everyday because I have a mild form of roseacea and use it to even out my skin tone. I don't think I look phony or false.
It must be nice for those who have a perfect complexion. That's so rare especially as one ages. Gee, I'd love to see some pics of that perfect face. Wouldn't you? ;)

I hardly ever put on make up when I'm just at home, but I always put it on to go out. But I only wear a powder, light blush and brown eye shadow....always brown. I can't get away from it. :teeth: But I do almost always do something with my hair. It's shoulder length and very layered and when I wake up the shortest layers are almost always sticking straight up. :scared1: Yep, just like that guy. So I do my ritual bending over and wetting it in the tub. Then I either bowdry it and flip it out or air dry and straighten it with a flat iron. Or sometimes I just pull my front and sides back away from my face and call it a day. :teeth:

Well I don't feel the need for makeup. How is that offensive? I like the way I look without it. My DH loves the way I look without it. I see no reason to sit at home with lashes that are an inch long and foundation clogging my pores. I really hate that phony look. I missed the wearing cute pjs out but have to add that I think that is tacky tacky tacky. LOL!

Ok, that is great that you and your husband love how you look without makeup. But, there are alot of women out there wearing makeup, and believe me, nobody I know or myself have "one inch long eyelashes, and thick foundation clogging their pores." I know that you are stating your opinion, but, this thread was about everyones routine, not to make rude comments to people. That just isn't right.
