How many of you go to the parks alone?

I usually go by myself, and at times it does get lonely, but I love having the freedom to do what I want.

I’ve done it a couple times. Loved the first trip. Second one I cut short due to a Covid spike and my sister being hospitalized with it while I was there. It freaked me out too much to want to stay around crowds.

I’ll spend part of a day by myself on my next likely trip as DH has a meeting. I know I’ll enjoy that.

I spend days in the parks solo before the other people in my party join me a few days later. The first time this happened was because a blizzard was forecast, and I had to fly down three days earlier than expected. Ever since then I start with three or four extra solo days before everyone joins me. I really enjoy both parts of my stay.

Oddly, I don’t get lonely when I’m on a solo trip. I love moving at my own pace. I usually listen to podcasts or an audiobook on earbuds when in lines. Even if with my husband we don’t usually do TS restaurants so I can avoid that or I can do it as DH doesn’t like to spend the time/money on mediocre food.

I have done Parks by myself and often do long periods of time by myself while my peeps ride things I can’t - I rather enjoy it - doing what I want when and how - always friendly people to chat up

I go to WDW solo at least once a year, sometime twice. I have a solo trip coming up the week after Easter (starting on Easter Sunday, bad planning on my part). I love going solo, I ride what I want or not, I sit and watch people, I stand in line if I want.

Pretty much always. I put out an invite for others to come along, but seldom get takers.
