Hey, Debbie!! Congratulations to your DS - I don't know anything about hockey (DH only allows me one sport, so it HAS to be football! GO CHIEFS!!) - but it sounds like a great opportunity!! Best of Luck!!!:jumping1:

Oh boy, you all are making me REALLY want to change my regular Poly room to concierge, rack rate & all! I know we're going back in Nov., but I don't know if I can wait that long to get back to concierge!

Okay all you fellow concierge lovers.

Does anyone have the physical address for the Magic Kingdom Resorts Itinerary Planning Office?

I wanted to send some flowers to Marilyn for all her help in reserving the Grand 1 for our trip and they gave me the address where all the mail is delivered.

Thanks in advance.:D

Good question, floridafam!
But, I don't know the answer to that one!
I would call the itinerary planning office and tell them that you'd like to send her something for her added effort.

You would think that the WDW florist would know where MK itinerary planning office is also!::yes::

Please, let me know how that idea works!

Majestic.....don't you know it~!
They'd be on me soooo fast! :hyper:

#1hockeymom....isn't Susan wonderful?! We both know each other from the beginning of the AKL concierge!
She's been there since day one! She will make sure you get some magical moments, too!:teeth:

SeaSpray....I love the way you think these things through!
::yes::
One of the best things about concierge, is that the CL is always centralized. Close to the food, drinks, fun....the action!:sunny:

k&a&c'smom.... ROTFL!!!!:rotfl:

steveanddonna....I've done the Poly concierge at rack rate, and it WAS worth every penny! ::yes::
Welcome to our concierge WORLD!!!!:wave2:

BambiTamby, the floral company was able to locate the office and I received a thank you e-mail from the IPO office.

I'm really starting to get excited about our trip. We added on another day last week, we have our PS for 'Ohana and the Wishes cruise on the Grand 1. I can't wait. :teeth:

I just can't wait until Christmas!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I have to find something soon to look forward to. My trip is too far off for me to want to be there so bad.

BTW, with all this talk about Poly LVC, will I be happy with GVC?

:earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

editing to add, when I first booked this trip, I wanted to stay at the Poly with a parking lot view. ... :sunny: I didn't care. Just wanted the Poly. And now..

Steffy

I hear ya!! We originally booked AKL pool view at the AP rate, and were so excited to be going during peak season with a discount. Then, I started reading the concierge threads, and decided we wanted to try to get concierge w/the discount - no go!! But, Bambi and Debbie convinced me to keep trying, and I was finally able to book the Poly for the first two days - rack rate - and keep our last two days at AKL, pool view. STILL trying to get the AP rate, and trying to add AKL concierge!!! HA!

Long story slightly less long, I can now quote the automated system at CRO "...listen carefully to the following options, AND let the magic begin.":teeth:

Can someone fill me in on the Concierge "guest" thing?

OK...
Less than 20 days till our Disney vacation!!!
We're booked WL CL.

Flight is booked
Towncar booked
PS's booked
hoppers purchased

NOW WHAT???
start packing???:Pinkbounc

eeek!!! so excited!!!

Full of great information, but boy, some of y'all have so much stuff in your signatures, it makes it so hard to read what is info and what is not! Anyway, just wanted to say I have been a few times in concierge, but lately the lounge at the Poly has had quite a few rude people, taking tons of food, leaving their mess for the CMs to clean up. I think that it really isn't worth it anymore. It isn't relaxing. I am going to try BWI this May, I hope it is more to my liking.

Yes, I've read these negative reports also.
But I take those with a grain of salt because there's always someone who likes "this" and not "that".
Remember, this IS the resort board, and everyone sees things in a different light!
As for the food horders and rude people.....I just smile at them and say "God Bless You"!:D
They're inside and outside WDW!
So why deny yourself a nice CL experience becuase of them?

Even when the dad/daughter came up into the YC CL and "stole" all of the wings and soda, we found humor in that!
BTW...the wonderful CMs replaced those wings and soda immediately! ::yes::

Notice on my sig.....I always state where I'm staying at my upcoming WDW "ADVENTURES" !
And that's what LIFE is......an adventure!

floridafam...so glad to here she got the flowers!
and I'm so excited for you getting to sail on the Grand1 !!!!:bounce:

Steffy...you WILL be happy with GVC! we've stayed GVC and still had an awesome time at the Poly concierge!
Plus, you NEVER know IF you'll be upgraded to a LV!;)
When you check into the CL, just ask nicely and very sweetly, if there are any LV available. No promises, but it does NOT hurt to ask! :)

k&a&c'smom.....you are too funny!
Long story slightly less long, I can now quote the automated system at CRO "...listen carefully to the following options, AND let the magic begin."

Sooo true!::yes::

mom_rules....what specific questions do you have about the CL guest thing?:earsgirl:

and finally...... MagicPrincess.... I'm with you, girlfriend!
Where almost at that 2 week mark and that list goes thru my mind all the time!
Just hang out here until then, it'll keep you "sane" until you start packing! LOL!

Ya'll have a wonderful DISNEY day!

Last time we stayed GVC, we were a little disappointed that we didn't just spend the extra for LV. :( The GV was nice but the magic just wasn't there for us.

I have never heard of anyone here posting about being upgraded to LV at Polynesian.

I read about 30 replys to on this thread and I have not seen anyone say what specificly is different from concierge/non concierge.

Is there a link? The link from the 1st page is just stories of how great the hotels are - not what concierge is.

Hi Bojangles! Good to see you here!

We were one time! I thought I did post it, but, that was around the time I started my chemo, so I wasn't posting as much.::yes::

Steffy...if you can afford the extra $50 (around there) a night for LV, just go for it! :teeth:
Looking at the castle when you wake up and go to sleep is AWESOME! No doubt!:hyper:

Magic Princess.....YEAH!!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Majestic & dreamflight99....Isn't it an awesome feeling?!!!!::yes:: ::yes::

Now...I gotta go!
Like df says TTFN!!!!

I didn't post about the upgrades either--we have also been upgraded x2 from GV to LV and it was during regular season. It happens, just not that often in the busier times. I didn't ask either--just magic I guess.

Having been both GV and LV, I don't really care--I sure wouldn't pay the nearly $100 (if not more) per night for the LV. We're not in the room long enough to enjoy the view AND if we are, it's a near hurricane and you can't see MK anyway! :hyper: If it's lovely, I prefer to be outside on the grounds, not in a room. We also tend to be fall asleep to the TV people--the view there is the same regardless of what's outside the room. I've said it before, and I repeat for those who've never read it, when our kids were very young, the view was much more important because we were in our rooms early. Now they are teens--we aren't there in the evening on a regular basis. It makes little sense to pay $590 vs $490 (tax inclusive) p/n rack for what I'm probably seeing in person. ;)
